So I am visiting my mom’s house and she’s recently propagated and planted these monstera babies. Clearly, they are upset. She rooted them in water and removed the water from them four about 24 hours so they were sitting in empty propagation jars (she meant to plant them and then something came up so they were left without water) Now that she’s potted them, they are losing leaves, turning yellow and brown, and are drooping. Does anyone have a solution? They are watered once a week. Is the best thing to do just cut them above the lowest node and wait for them to slowly grow new leaves?

Hi I was gifted an anthurium. The plant is still growing new leaves so I don’t think I’ve killed it. However, throughout the year it’s lost all of its flowers and hasn’t grown any new ones. It’s still pretty but I’d love to grow some new flowers. Any tips?

hi everyone, so i have a big pest problem on my collection, both thrips and spider mites on my plants. i am a student and am currently doing my thesis so i have very minimal time to care for my collection which is over 100 plants. what is my easiest mode of action, im ok if it take bit longer than usual as long as it works! also i have a cat so it cannot be toxic. knock on wood, but so far they just look sad and nothing crazy has happened just a few leaves dying here and there but nothing has fully died yet and its been this way since april, i just really want them to start thriving again!

hi all! I have a bunch of outside potted plants and I've had such a problem with ants nesting in my pots. im at my wits end with them!!! I've tried treating the areas with cinnamon, and when that didnt work, I sprayed diluted vinegar all around the affected areas to disrupt their pheromones. however they are still terrorizing my potted plants! any and all input is welcome (*^▽^)/★*☆♪

This foxtail fern and I need some advice! As you can see it’s lost a lot of stems over the years, especially during the hot summers. Do you think if I take it out to basically repot it, that I can remove these woody stems without damaging the live parts? Is it possible to clean it up and make room for new growth? Any advice welcomed to restore/recovery!

Weird question. Is there a pest that can cover a whole shelf with webbing? I didn't see a spider anywhere and none of the plants had spider mites. It was on the shelf with the orange boat lily. The whole underside was covered. 🤷‍♀️

My succulent is hard in the center but everywhere around is soft and the leaves look cracked. I moved it from the sun. Any clues what it could be?

My Persian Shield looks a bit off & I wish I could keep the leaves purple. Any idea what’s causing the speckled look or how I can keep it purple while growing indoors? Dr. Planta said it may be under fertilized. Location: indoors (office environment) Lighting: 1 foot from a south facing window (currently shade in the morning & sunny in the afternoon) Water: it’s watered twice a week (it will droop after about 4 days & perks up once thoroughly watered) Fertilizer: probably fertilized once a month with Foliage Pro SuperThrive Pests: nothing seen on plant or in soil It was repotted into a Naked Root planter about a month ago & the roots are thriving as they have begun growing towards the sides and bottom.

Okay I have tried everything to get rid of the gnats living in my banana trees soil. They are starting to infest my home. Please help. I have an event coming up in a month and the last thing I want my guests to endure is gnats getting in their face and food.

There are little tiny white bugs. They almost look like a super thin, small grain of rice. Just sprayed more neem oil. This is week 2. What else can I do?

Queen of the night, spots? It’s bone dry right now. I was just getting ready to water and noticed all the spots Not sure what’s causing it. I cleaned it to make sure there weren’t any pests, couldn’t find any. Any suggestions?

Soooooo I made a massive error in judgement and thought I had thrips and then used a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on some leaves and well, yup…. Definitely burnt the leaves and wondering if anyone has any advice other than removing / pruning the completely dead leaves ? Any steps to take that you have taken from personal experience or that works well? I really do not want to give up on this plant ( it’s a magestic palm). I almost gave up on it a while back with a growth issue and just as life teaches us patience- this is my Buddha tree per se.
