This is Spike and he is a really important plant to me. He was a gift from someone who is no longer around. I NEED to keep him healthy. Iâm really worried because heâs been doing great for years. Now all of a sudden the leaves are turning white and drying up. I havenât moved him out of the space heâs always been in. I did repot him about four months ago. Same type of soil, same watering schedule, same everything. Any ideas what I should do? Should I cut off the flower at the top? Could that be draining from the leaves? Itâs never done that before though. Help.

Hello this is my string of pearls and I donât really know whatâs wrong with it. Some of the âleavesâ are squishy and wilted and some are all dried out. I donât think it has to do with lighting as itâs under a grow lamp. Please let me know what you think, thanks!
I donât know what happening to my plant She was doing fine up until last week I donât understand. Could someone help me out ? xx
Last year I had a lot of issues with fungus gnats, and from watering less often over winter and using mosquito bits and lots of other things I was able to control it a bit better. Iâm worried about it coming back now Iâve just repotted some of them which is when Iâve found it gets bad each year while the plant is adjusting to a larger space. I have noticed that when my plants are in ceramic plant pots (in their plastic planters), they donât dry out for weeks even in the sun, even the ones I havenât changed the pot size with. Have other people had a similar issue and do you recommend leaving them out of the ceramic pots. Might sound like a non-issue but I donât water the plants until I feel they have dried out a little bit (depending on plant), but plants I know like to be watered regularly are still damp on the top layer so I donât want to water too much!
Not long ago I got this funny guy at Home Depot and in order to spare myself some blame, he did have a few brown crunchy bits on its edges when I purchased him but they donât seem to be improving, but I am still getting a new leaf up top. Planta gives conflicting information like 50% under watering or 50% over watering (I guess iâm supposed to just commit to one or the other and hope for the best). I hope some more experienced plant people can take a look and make recommendations!
What are these little bugs on the trap?? At least i think there bugs they are super tiny đŹ i dont think i see more on my ppp but heres pictures :( They look like super super tiny gnats i think that i see wings on them.. and they have super thin kind of pointed at one end bodys. only really noticed because i was about to repot, should i still? tia
Iâve had this little guy for about a year now, he doesnât wanna grow, but heâs not exactly DYING. He spends all his time in my back yard in almost full sunlight. I donât water him regularly, but I make sure to do so when the soil is dry. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make him start growing?! He hasnât budged!! I want him to live up to his size, but Iâm not positive that I IDâd him properly. Any and all help is appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
âŒïžđš Hello, so I was looking at my plants and on my golden pathos I noticed this weird route sort of thing on my plant and then I saw these brown things. Theyâre not bugs but like theyâre weird Iâll show you guys some photos. Do you know what they are and what I could do cut them or somthing Also took photos of the leaves because thereâs a brown one. I donât know if I should cut it off.
Guys i need help, this is my first ever plant and i really donât want her to die. hereâs what happened, so my aunt hage me this Doritaenopsis orchid when she found out i really liked plants and that i wanted to have one of my own. Every thing was going well at first (her name is Priscilla) i watered her every 7 days with cold water, put her somewhere with enough lighting but not directly on the light. But then the flowers started dying one by one , I didnât know what was going on, till i found this app and found out that she needed a drainage sistem, my poor lil plant was drowning this whole time, so i made a drain for her with a knife ( worst idea i could ever have) I obviously cut myself in the process but accumulated water came out when i made the drain, water started falling out. Still I donât think that will be enough, the roots of my plant are rotting, iâm worried she might not surive till next week please , i need help what do i have to do :(

Hi! Anyone know why the white flower part on my peace lily keeps dying? Sheâs very dramatic in general but iâm not sure if this is normal or not? Thank for your help!!!
can anyone help me identify what these brown round things are? I canât tell if they are bugs or what and they are only appearing on certain limbs of my tradescantia and a few leaves are browning. Any help would be appreciated!
What is this a sign of and how can I fix this? Thank you!
hey all! first time plant parent. i inherited this money tree along with a few other plants. my cat chewed on some of the leaves and i have mostly pruned those (though thereâs at least one with some bites in it i couldnât bring myself to cut đ„Č) but what iâm wondering about is this yellow bit. i read that it was from overwatering so i moved it to a dryer place but itâs been probably over a week and these few leaves just keep yellowing. should i just prune them? thereâs still new growth which i pictured so i know the plant isnât doomed yet.
Help! something is eating my mint, it seems to be leaving something behind
