Hi All, I’m hoping someone can offer me some insight regarding these signs of disease on my ‘Black Velvet’ Alocasia. This is the second or third year it has developed these spots. In the past they have grown larger and eventually I have removed the affected leaves. Four of the eight leaves are affected. The rest of the plant looks healthy. I’ve treated for pests and fungus, but not aggressively. I read somewhere that this is a normal “shedding” for their dormancy period, but I’d like confirmation please. Thank you in advance, Diane

Hey y’all Help!!!! How do I get these hard water stains off my leaves!!! I have been misting with tap water and have recently changed to distilled! Recently as in yesterday. But The water stains are still here! What can i do??

I’ve seen a lot of recommendations on systemic pellets for fungus gnats so I recently purchased some from a garden center that’s closing (yay for plant sales haha). I have been patiently waiting for my plants to begin to dry out so I can water them with the pellets, however after reading the directions on the bottle I’m more than confused. Are they water soluble & am I supposed to give at watering time? Or do I bury a few under the first few inches of soil then water? *picture of the product purchased

hi! i have always had trouble with my elephant bush looking dead to being completely fine but this is probably the worst it as ever looked. the first picture is now and the second was just a couple months ago. i am not sure what is wrong with it. i recently started to get rid of fungus gnats and i wondered if they had started to get to the roots of it and were killing it but i have almost no gnats now! i am also wondering if i over water it but it is always completely dry when it’s time to water. anyone have any advice ? thanks (:

Hi! Was hoping anyone could give advice on our plant. We’ve had some issue with it. The middle is perfectly fine and healthy but any small growths have been dying off. We watered according to Planta but it did not help so we are trying to underwater right now. Please let us know what you think!

I’ve got spider mites or thrips and I don’t know what to do . Please help I saw these weird small thingys moving on my lemon with white spots , I can’t tell if it’s thrips or mite

This is my second Prayer plant and I’m having the same issues! Initially thought thrips, treated well with neem oil (wiping leaves, spraying soil) preventing fungus with baking soda and I just can’t seem to get her comfortable anymore. Everything was going so well until about 2 months ago. The plant has lots of indirect natural sun light. I appreciate the uk is getting colder and darker but the temp never drops inside below 16/17 degrees c. Any suggestions of help is appreciated

Why are some of the leaves on my ZZ plant turning light green? There’s also one leaf that is two toned, light green and brown?

HELP! What on earth happened to my philodendron micans?? I brought it home 2 days ago and noticed some spots on the leaves. Today I decided to take a good look and almost all the leaves fell off with a light touch… 2nd photo is of the 2 leaves remaining, one old (spotted) and one new (red). Last photo show the spots on both sides of a fallen leaf. Is there any chance this plant will live? And wth is it!!🥲🥲

HELP I found what I think was a spider mite on my newest plant, I’ve sprayed and wiped down the leaves with neem oil twice (and put the plant in time out lol) how can I fix this? I don’t want to toss it :(

the bottom leaf keeps yellowing as each top leaf grows in. I’ve heard this is a normal cycle, is that true? or is this something I can help

Just got this plant at a farmers market a few weeks ago. One of the leaves started getting a yellow patch and dropping :( any tips on how to help him? the lady said to put it in a windowsill and let completely dry between watering. let me know if I should be doing something different. thanks!

i recently got this string of turtles and im not sure what im doing wrong 😭 hes been in the same pot since i repotted him, he currently lives in the upper pot of a two tier hanging pot which was recently lowered since i thought he wasnt getting enough light? but he also has a grow light which im not sure is helping him but the rest of my plants in that area love it i follow the planta schedule usually for watering but watch his soil too so i dont think hes being overwatered? his one strand looks okay but i think is dying is there anything i can do to save him? 😭

I just repotted my snake plants and this happened to the leaves almost immediately. Are they goners or will their color come back? I did not water bc the soil they were in kept them too moist. Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated.

I NEED HELP I got this really big golden pothos, and it is my favorite plant, I love it so much, and when I got it, it was fine— but l've had her for about two weeks and her leaves are turning yellow and then brown. I hadn't watered her for two weeks so I thought she just needed some water and food, so I did, and trimmed her up a bit, even asked a friend why and they said to give her more light, so I have, but it hasn't worked and it getting progressively worse by the hour and I have no idea what's wrong or what to do, and I'm worried I can't save her ☹️ (It looks worse irl and it's nighttime)

Help! I was watering my plants today and I noticed this about my cactus? I just watered it for the first time in a month like 2 days ago. What could be wrong?
