I separated and repotted my Clivia 2 months ago. About three weeks later they seemed to be going downhill so I checked roots and there was some root rot happening. Cleaned it up. Now another month later one of them had some leaves turning yellow. Checked it and pulled about 5 middle leaves out with the bottom part rotted. Looked inside in the middle and itâs rotted w little long white pests crawling around inside. The root system looks great though!! What happened and why is this happening?? Iâve tried researching online and canât find whatâs going on. What r the bugs and what can be done? I tried to get a good pic of the inside but itâs hard with only 2 hands lol

Hi friends!! Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of the little gnat type bugs in my plants soil?? Iâve cut back on watering, checked everyone for root rot(all good), adjusted the lighting situation for some⊠and there are still a few lingering.
Need some advice. I have a big Peace Lily and I had her in my SW facing sliding door and every so often I rotate her and I rotated her yesterday and noticed she appears to have gotten sunburnt. Should I cut out all of the sunburnt leaves??
I recently got a croton and itâs already dropped two leaves! Any advice or ideas of what I could be doing wrong? Itâs in a south facing window that is partially covered by my roof, and I am following plantas watering schedule. Any help would be appreciated!
Does anyone know what kind of fungus this is? Itâs kind of like a white ish green color. Google said it was harmless to my plants but I just want to make sure. I had gotten this bag of soil and didnât open it for a while. Then when I opened the bag, there was a bunch of this fungus.
Why is her leaves turning brown and crispy ?! Sheâs somewhat under a grow light , is she getting burned ?
Mushroom from the bottom of my Elephant Ears? It seems to be relatively happy, even little babies. đ„čđ
Help! My girls are dying and idk what to do. we just moved somewhere new and I now can have daily access to my plants. Any advice?
Hi friends! I recently received a (albeit very sickly) astrophytum/goats head cactus from a friend. He didnât have the time to try and save him and wanted to see if I could give it a shot. Now I am not an expert by any means but I used Dr Planta to diagnose it and it thinks itâs scales (EEK). What do you guys think? Did I just endanger the rest of my plants by bringing this one into the home? If so, how do I make sure they donât get scales?? I tried to see if I could pull any of the reddish bits off and they donât budge so I am hoping it is edema/discoloration. I donât see any moving pests on there either. HELP
Apologies for a longer description, Iâm very new to taking care of plants: Ive had this snake plant for a little while. Youâll notice a few bite marks from my cat, though she hasnât tried to bite it lately. Iâm noticing the leaf on the right is curling more, so Iâm not sure if this means I need to water it more or if itâs okay to wait a few more days to let it process before watering it more. I guess my question is: is there anything looking unhealthy about this plant that I should take note of or change about its routine? Iâve spritzed it with small amounts of water every few days just to give it small amounts of hydration without soaking all of the soil too much, but Iâm scared Iâm doing too much/too little to take care of it. Any suggestions?
Hi! Is my peace lily too far gone to save?? Iâm a new plant owner and my peace lily has been thriving for a while, but it needed to be repotted. After repotting, it began to droop badly and die. I realized the pot didnât have a drainage hole, so the app told me to switch to a pot that did. I then switched it to a pot with a drainage hole, and ever since has DRASTICALLY gotten much worse. Is there anything I can do to save it?! TIA!
So we have a few problems here⊠First off, my orchid is clearly not doing well. Also, my global green pothos is not doing well I donât think. Please leave me tips on how I can save my plants! đ±
This silver snake plant always looks so sad. Iâve moved it into a smaller pot, moved it around the house, given it less water⊠but nothing works ):
What could cause my hydrangea to do this?? I bought it 2 days ago. It was beautiful yesterday and today it looks like this. Put it outside a few hours ago hoping it would help but it seemed to make it worse.
Anyone have an Oxalis Iron Cross shamrock? I have very happy shamrocks of other varieties including purple oxalis, but my Iron Cross is wilting, leggy, and sad looking no matter what I do. Iâve tried different windows for light intensity, repotted into the well-draining mix I use for my others, checked for rot and pests⊠Iâm at a loss đ
My orchid appeared healthy, then suddenly the flower fell off. The plant has continued to turn brown from top to bottom. I had been watering every three days with an ice cube. After the bloom fell off, I started using an ice cube every other day. Iâve been giving it orchid food once a week. Given the color, I assumed itâs not getting enough water, but itâs only gotten worse since I upped the water. Any advice?
Hi everyone! I desperately need help with my fiddle!! I brought her home about 2-3 weeks ago. I gave her a few days before I repotted her. Water her thoroughly after but then 2 days later she got all droopy. Iâve moved her around my house in different lighting but nothing is perking her up. I donât know what to do đ«
Hi any recommendations for plant flies ? đ«
Hi friends! I have a little ivy plant that has been declining ever since I got it. I canât figure out exactly what the problem is but the leaves have been getting dry and dead no matter what I do differently. Any advice is appreciated!
Hi everyone, My cat chewed up the leaves of my $ tree, unfortunately it has been declining since. I am not sure what to do anymore. The bottom roots are getting soggy. And I just watered it today based on âplantas recommendationâ any help would be appreciated. It was coming back to life before my cat chewed the leafs again. Sigh. He finally has stopped chewing the plant now that I added Chili powder to it but the plant seems to be doing worst. I was told to propagate it and put it in water but also to just repot it in new soil that is dry. Donât want my tree to dieđ« . I added pictures of the roots.
