Iāve had some problems with one of my Lillyās and this app told me to remove it and trim the roots. Iāve taken Lilly out today to see what the score is with the roots and I was expecting to see a ton of roots but this is all thatās there. I donāt actually think itās dead but what do you think? Thereās like 4 roots there

I cannot win for losing with my fuchsia! Iām at a total lose! The second pot was for reporting her once she was adjusted to my home, but she has never adjusted! Iām paranoid Iām over watering her, but she perks up every time I water her which is weekly, so IDK?!? Every guide I read says donāt water fuchsias this often, but I see a positive reaction when I do, but every week she seems to get worse! Do they always perk up right after getting water even if theyāre being overwatered?! Her leaves feel dry and brittle, and they arenāt yellowing, theyāre just dying! What am I doing wrong?!
Yes, Iām still fairly new to plant care. My mom has a brown thumb so we never kept plants, but all the plants I care for EXCEPT this one are doing great as far as I can tell. Lots of flowering, getting bigger by the day, and then this one just looks so sad! Iām just lost and itās breaking my heart to see her looking so sad!

A little less than a year ago I snipped off the top of my Ficus Audrey to promote branching and I now have two new branches with lots of very healthy leaves! However⦠I am noticing that the branches are very thin near where I initially cut from. I am worries that with all the new growth the stems will not be able to support the weight of new leaves. I have a wooden dowel to support the trunk but I am still worried. Any ideas on how to bulk up branch thickness? Should I hang tight and see what happens or just chop it off again and hope it grows back stronger next time?
I have been loving my pilea mollis plant. It was in a spot that I think was semi stunting its growth. It would receive light from an east facing window, but it was placed below the window so it didnāt get a ton of light and was fairly shaded. So Iām moving it to a hanging rod in north facing window that gets direct sunlight from an east facing window next to it.
All this to say, I was examining this plant (which was originally a rescue so it came with some damage) and I noticed these little white spots. They are tiny and only in this spot but look like maybe white mold? Given that it had low sunshine and was consistently moist from not having direct light to grow, I figured that would be the case. But Iām wondering if anyone has any better ideas, tips, or tricks?
No other plants nearby have any sort of bugs, so I would be shocked if that is the case for this.

Still having trouble with my homalomena :/ I chopped two leaves last week. Since the chop, two new leaves have sprouted And now the three oldest leaves are browning and curling at the tips.

I bought this polkadot begonia about 3 weeks ago and Iām not sure what Iām doing wrong her leaves are crispy and and keep chipping off, I havenāt repotted her I thought maybe she was getting too much sun and getting sun burnt so I took her away from the window, sheās not under watered. Iām not sure how to make her happy. Any tips? or have similar experiences?

š¦šWhatās an effective spray to get rid of gnats? Iāve been using a combination of hydrogen peroxide and water, and a Katchy trapper.
This combination works for a while but not as effective as I would like, I still see gnats flying here and there.
What have you all tried? Thanks!!

Is this orangish color normal for roots? Theyāre not soft or mushy. This is a dwarf snake plant.

Can anyone help me with my Kalanchoe? I got it six weeks ago and the blooms were great. I know blooms die off, but the new blooms are either brown or dry and donāt open, or donāt open fully. At first I thought they were maybe sun burned and discovered they need some darkness. So I made sure to keep it not too close to the window and to give it less sun. But then Iāve wondered if itās overwatering. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
