Grow Grow!

I got this money tree about 2-3 weeks ago I’ve been following the recommendations on the app, after the past watering on Sunday 7/20 a small thin layer of white powder like substance started appearing should i worry?

I loved this plant when it was smaller but it’s grown so much, and looks horrible now ): it’s so viney and weird looking. I’m going to trim most of it and start over. I’ll probably put propagations back into it to make it fuller too. Any suggestions for this time around? (This is a lilac tradescantia)

Two questions this is what was once very stringy Cebu blue Pothos I think it got a draft and or didn’t water enough anyways I was told to cut all the stems and I did 2 propagation variations one in water and one in soil with some hormones on the roots. This is what they both look like. I’m wondering if the propagation in the water should be planted in soil yet? or if I should wait.. I’m noticing little leaves though The other picture is of the stems of the same plant that I dipped in liquid root stimulator, and then put it in regular potting soil but I’m not seeing any growth and I’m wondering if I should take them out and put them in water.

Crown of Thorns! I almost killed my poor girl! She’s swung back though, very resilient. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get her back to full health and keep her happy? Her flowers used to be darker and more plentiful, not sure how to get her going again

I have no clue why my ZZ plant is doing this! It was doing great until recently. I never over water since the bulbs retain a bit of water plus I wait until its dry. Any suggestions why its wilting?

Hi! I have these white things on my sage. Any idea what they are? They are liquidy and come off with water but they keel making a small comeback in spots. Plant is healthy otherwise (outside of a few spots of munching but it is outdoor so thats normal)

I’ve been trouble shooting this peperomia plant since I bought it 6 months ago. Kept losing leaves and fading/yellowing. I guess I didn’t troubleshoot that well because I fully rinsed all the roots and found a mesh bag around the root ball! I can’t believe it took me this long to find it- I feel so silly but I guess it’s a lesson to me. I cut off all of the root rot, repotted, and hoping it can be saved. šŸ™šŸ»

Not sure what this outdoor plant is. It’s been fine for last year but all the leaves have started turning brown. Watered regularly and I have tried to take the infected branches off but it’s now gone all over. Any suggested treatments?

Hello, I have this Tradescantia (Spiderwort) plant that just always seems to look shriveled and dying/crusty leaves forming. I’m not sure if I’m overwatering or under watering it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What are these theee little brown things on my cherry tomato leaves? Are they pests or tomato warts? They are shaped like miniature hay bales and I easily flicked them off - but not sure what caused them. For context, it’s been hot this week, and I’ve been watering every morning per my Planta scheduled suggestions. Am I over watering or do I have a bug problem?

Repotted with tropical soil, moisture meter says ā€œmoistā€ gets sun thru a bathroom window which is frosted, at night I use a plant light.. the leaves are curling up and one yellow leaf. Some other leaves look healthy How do I cut/remove any dying or dead leaves Thanks

What is this white stuff? It wipes off like tiny slime. Also, should I repot this in a bigger pot?

95% sure I originally overwatered a month or two ago and it lost like 5-10 leaves… but I’ve repotted in a smaller pot, changed soil to let it dry completely before last watering and it’s still shriveling up and dropping leaves like crazy, practically all of them. The remaining leaves keep shriveling up. Do I need to prune it back to make it full again and let it recover? or is it just a lost cause and I need to get a new one? Profile picture of it in bigger pot was much fuller and healthier.

Can someone help with gnats?? I’m going insane over here. I have 15 house plants and we have 6 lizard enclosures full of plants. For the potted ones I have changed out the soil to a more chunky one that drains better. Clear puts so I can see where we are with moisture, and only watering from the bottom. I use the app for care so I’m not over watering or under watering. We also replace sticky traps everytime we water. Help! lol I’m going crazy!

Hey all! I just moved my calathea and my fern to my work office and the sunlight is far less than where they used to be. I ordered a plant light off of amazon but it doesn’t seem to be working as my plants (especially the calathea) are wilting. Any suggestions or other lights I should try?
