Hello everyone. I hope you all are enduring whatever smoke and harsh weather is in your area! I do have a question. My redbud was plagued with caterpillars for the past three years eating all the leaves off of it. Finally this year no caterpillars, but⊠Now it has these strange black spots all over the leaves. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on. Thank you in advance for any help that is provided. Have a great day! đ
Hi, I was wondering if I could get some advise on my plant (âBellaâ). I only got her a few weeks ago but have noticed some leaves are yellowing/others have shrivelled and gone brown. Sheâs not very close to the window so not sure if itâs a lack of light? Iâve been watering her once a week ish. Any help and advice would be much appreciated, Iâm not very good at keeping my plants alive but want Bella to live on!
I wanted to bring my Pothos inside and checked the soil because it previously was infested and I saw the monsters were back to I checked one of my avocados and sure enough itâs infested too and I think all of my plants might be because they are all together I think they are spring tails but Iâm not sure does anyone know what to dođ
Hi all! I am currently treating my entire collection for thrips (evidence on a couple plants, but everything is close together/no room to quarantine so Iâm treating all as infected). Last week I added systemic granules to the soil and gave a good spray wing Captain Jackâs Dead Bug brew. Is it safe to fertilize at the same time? Google has been unhelpful :(
I need advice on my bird of paradise. She was one of my first plants, earlier this year when I was a total amateur. Iâd say Iâm more beginner now. So we faced many issues together. First, there used to be 2 in this pot. I didnât have her in enough light, and she got root rot bad. I cleaned up her (and her sisters roots) and repotted. I put her on my back porch for more light and heat/humidity (hot summer months at that time). Sister plant died. She dropped many leaves, but somehow made it. She got two new leaves, was doing well. Shortly after this, spider mites. I treated. I cleaned her. I treated again. Iâm *pretty sure* they are now gone. Iâm at the point now itâs getting colder out and she needs to come inside. I have not repotted, checked roots, Iâm honestly scared to touch her. Which brings me to my question: what do I do now đ„Č
Hello friends! :) Hoping I can get some help with my honey locust tree. The leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Iâve tried leaving it outside for days to make sure it has enough sunlight. Iâve also been watering twice a week when the soil is dry on the top. I gave it some food, too. Any help is appreciated!
hey, does anyone know whatâs wrong with my golden pothos? it developed these brown spots so i checked for any bugs but couldnât see any. i thought it might be slightly fungal from getting water on the leaves but im not sure? can anyone advise?
Hi there, I need some advise on my plant, the leaves seem to be appearing weak and yellowing.
what's wrong with my plant? he has moved spots from downstairs to upstairs but is at a window directly above the window he was at before.
My basil keeps getting white flies and white eggs. Do I need to worry about them? I want to still be able to eat it so not sure if I can spray anything on it. It seems to be growing fine. I usually just brush them away when I see them and take off any leaves with eggs. Any ideas how to get rid of should I just leave them?
Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do when your plant grows an arm? Heâs been growing this arm for years.
Hey there, My Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) is not improving but rather getting even more sickly with more âąyellowing leaves âądrying leaves âąbeginning to look sparse âąwith very little new growth It is in a partially shaded area of my patio and was doing pretty well to begin with. My plant is falling over, is this a watering/light issue or is it just too heavy? Any tips?
I used tropical house plant food with my palm and it seems to be having mixed feelings. I noticed so much more growth but also it becoming very floppy and some lightening of the green on certain palms. Any ideas?? Thanks a bunch!
Fiddle leaf fig- more like Fickle leaf. Can someone tell me the issue with this guy? When I got him he was full and tall!! I am on the watering schedule from this app but maybe itâs not enough? Itâs in a corner with no vent near it and there is light from a window on the opposite wall but sun doesnât directly come into it.

Need help with my calathea orbifolia. Got it at Costco about 2 weeks ago. Noticed that leaves are starting to get dark brown spots on them. Usually water the plant once a week. Not sure if I should repot since itâs so crowded under.
Silver jade plant with white spots. Are the mealy bugs? What would you all recommend as the best treatment? Iâm noticing white spots on a few of my succulents. I also think I may have over fertilized! Ugh
Hi! My aloe vera is struggling⊠Very dry, appears to be dying from the bottom up. Iâm going to move it to a location with better light based on Plantaâs recommendation. Is there anything else I should be doing? Maybe it should be repotted? The soil looks kind of gross, but unsure if the condition is harmful. I took all of the dead leaves off, they were brown, thin and dry like paper.
