My new Monstera Thai Constellation’s leaf looks brownish in spots. Any idea what’s going on?? Also, one of the leaves is dripping water. The water comes back after like 3 hours after me shaking it off the leaf, and it won’t stop- I don’t mist it, and I watered it a couple days ago. Any idea what’s going on with either??
My monstera Peru has 2 new leaves but both have brown spots. What’s wrong?
Good morning plant friends! Looking for steps to rehab plants after cold weather shock. I’m up in northern Michigan, and we have been in a State of Emergancy. Most people have been without power for almost 72 hours. Due to an ice storm and freezing rain. Trees down blocking roads, and power lines across roads. No gas stations open for gas to run generators or power at businesses here and around us. Anyway, we’re getting power back now all over the county slowly but surely thankfully to the wonderful lineman of Michigan working endlessly 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 ❤️ As a community we are all trying to help one another the best we can. I was able to get gas for my generator last night and take my house from in the 40s back to a normal temps! (Thankfully! It was so cold) Long story long 😅 what are the steps I should be taking to help my plants? I am finally in a position to where i can shift my energy to caring for my plants! I have 60+ house plants and during the worst of the storm I gathered them all together in the room we were in for the best warmth I could provide. Should I hold off on watering? Should I spray neem oil or something preventively? Or should I provide good light when possible and leave them be. Thank you in advance! 🙏🏼❤️
Can anyone give me tips on how to revive this? I picked her up from Home Depot knowing she was a fixer upper, but now it’s worse!! Pics are before and after
It’s not doing well on the bottom, but the top is good. What do I need to do?
Hey plant community! I got my triostar back in December and it was doing well up until about a month ago. I made the decision to remove it from its soil to get it some time to heal in water, however, the leaves are still curling inward and looking pretty nasty? Please let me know how I can fix this!!
Help :) birds of paradise!
Can anyone help me with my plants? :( The first one are seeds (4 plants) from an orange and the second one is lemon. I thought all was well because they were growing even when I transferred them indoors ( they were growing slow in the summer), however the new growth especially on the orange plants are curled up and thing, some of the leafs aren’t complete!
Camellia has two new leaves 😍
My hoya krohniana all of a sudden stopped growing both leaves, but just one. There’s two parts of the plant that thats is happening. Any idea? Light is great and watering is when soil is nearly dry but still a little moist.
Planta friends, what does this look like to you? New leaf on one of my Alocasia nebula.
My Triostar has never really been happy, but recently she’s looking downright unhappy. She’s in a west facing bathroom window so gets good afternoon light and humidity, but the leaves have lost most of their pink color and are mostly drying out/shriveling up, despite regular watering, misting and fertilizing. Suggestions? I don’t find any pests.
My Chinese money started turning yellow and then brown. I checked the roots no issues there. I recently changed my grow light from blue light to full spectrum- could I maybe have scorched the leaves? I just turned down the brightness a bit to maybe stress it out less. Not seeing any pests. Also, this prop process has been soooo slow. I was hoping it would put out more leaves once it went in soil a month or two ago but nothing yet.
anyone know why my creeping fig is being all funny? i did just repot but there shouldnt be anything wrong? in my bathroom so high humidity watering is normal, not too wet and all my other bathroom plants r good
Thoughts on our fiddle leaf fig? We’re thinking it’s either a lack of light or that we need to repot the plant. Thanks!
I forgot to take good pictures when I checked her, so enjoy the funny Pic of me looking like I've thrown her lol. My adansonii just hates being alive 😭 I've upgraded her pot, given her a personal grow light, and tried to water before she droops and when the soil is dry. But no matter what she just throws a hissy fit no matter what. Her roots are extremely healthy so I can only assume i overwaterd. Can someone give advice? Should I invest in a moisture meter?
My golden mosaic has some kind of problem. Planta has tried to tell me that this issue is due to a watering problem, but I think it’s due to a fungus. Comments? TIA! PS. Sorry the picture is not great, but a new phone is coming… 🥳
Prayer plant is super top heavy. I’m still new to the whole pruning of plants. How would one go about getting this plant back to its perky, lighter self? Also came back home to it having a spider mite problem. I hate those things 😖 sprayed it off and put a neem oil concoction on it.
I’ve had this money tree for a few years and realized it has fungus gnats today. The soil is dry though it feels like there’s a little moisture on the bottom. I’m inclined to just let it dry out for a couple of weeks based off of what I’ve read, and because I’m not experienced in pest treatment. Neem oil and other applications seem confusing to me, mostly because I’m traumatized from treating a coffee plant that ended up dying a few years ago 🥲 Any advice?
