Does it feel like there are more pests this year than last year or is it just my plants? I hunt for caterpillars, snails and aphids every morning on my outside plants. I’ve fought spider mites on my indoor plants. Now, I’m seeing slugs outside! I never saw slugs in my yard. Maybe the weekly heavy rains are driving them to go vertical. 🤔💬

This is a leaf on my Ensete Maurelii. It has been doing super well, but suddenly I got this coloration and some wilting. It’s only on one leaf. If anyone has any advice or diagnosis I would very much appreciate it! Thank you 🪴🍌
Hey everyone. This is Afro(bird’s nest fern). I’m Not sure why the middle leaves are turning this translucent & thin. I’m fairly new to this & really want her to thrive. She’s my only indoor plant. HELP ME PLEASE 😩
I repotted this so that it had more drainage and it instantly started dropping leaves (turning yellow first). I recently added raisers to help with drainage after the leaves were lost. Anything I should do to promote more growth and make it happier?
Past couple leaves it’s produced have been very small without fenestrations. I can’t give it anymore light, it’s in my west window. I have a humidifier on the other side of the room set to 65-70%. I’m moving it back after the plants there get out of quarantine this week. But any other suggestions?
Sooo..what do I do? There’s wax on the tips and the rocks are glued 🥲
What kind of pest do we have?
Hi all…I don’t know what’s going on with my pitcher plant. He was thriving…grew some big pitchers and new leaves in the spring. Now he’s starting to turn yellow and many of his pitchers are shriveling up. 🙁 I haven’t changed anything in his routine. Any ideas?
What’s eating my sage
Can anyone tell me what’s going on with this plant? I left for a week long trip and before I left it looked like the picture on the right. I’ve been back from my trip for two weeks and now the plant has been dropping all of its leaves and now looks like the picture on the left. I have no idea what happened. Nothing changed when I was gone. It was not watered and it was kept consistently under my grow lights while I was gone. It’s been dying very fast.
My Monstera is about 2 years old and was thriving, but in the past month the leaves have been yellowing. The soil doesn't feel damp and I recently added drier soil to the top. Should I take it out of the pot and check the bottom? I'm afraid of causing more harm than helping it.
something is absolutely destroying my vegetables, it completely decimated my basil plant and the leaves on my san marzano tomato have not been looking so great and now there are holes through one of the tomatoes . i don't know what to do i got marigolds and have started with neem oil but not sure that will work
My ponytail palm recently had been getting pretty yellow leaves, I repotted with more perlite but was wondering if it’s going to be ok.
I’m currently propagating this cutting in water and I realized earlier today that something didn’t look quite right. Why is the leaf starting to become pale and soggy? Is this normal?
This little leaf fell off of my blooming orchid plant today. I also noticed some suspiciously dark (black) dead roots. It’s in sphagnum moss right now (it was given that way as a gift) and tends to stay pretty wet. Can anyone identify the problem? How do I better care for the plant?
1. Is this basil fixable? I overwatered and it got a sunburn. Its about 2 years old. 2. Second picture is my mint. Top is looking great but bottom is all browning leaves. What should I do?
Gifted a Thai constellation and was told it was watered three days ago. Can anyone help me figure out what I’m doing wrong? It’s wilting and has soft brown spots as shown.
New Plant Mom here…. Am I over watering my plant.. it doesn’t look as healthy as when I first got it
Growing season help for anyone! Just a friendly reminder to try and wipe down or wash down the leaves of your plants often, especially during the growing season. If they’re dusty or dirty it’ll stop some of the photosynthesis of your plant and not help the growth during this fun and exciting season. Also, if the leaves are dirty and dusty it’ll attract pests and diseases more than if they were clean. Hope this helps you all and happy lucky growing ahead!! 💚🪴
Help!!! My aloe plant has these smalls bumps on two of the stems and all I can find on Google is that it could be mites. I can’t find a good remedy for it. It says pesticides but warns that could potentially harm the healthy part of the plant. How do I fix her I really don’t want it to die???
