Hey everyone! So I’ve had this guy for about three or four months and he just won’t grow! I water it regularly (three times a week) but still nothing. It had roots before yet they all fell off?? I just need some help. Am I doing something wrong or is this a total lost cause?

This plant I have has some weird dots on the bottom of the leaf. I have never seen this before but it’s very weird. Any idea what it could be.

Hey yall- I have this guy that has started to yellow slowly at first and now very aggressively. I water when the plant is dry about the first 3-4 inches and keep one of the plants pictured in a rock tray to increase humidity. All of these guys were in the same pot when it was gifted to me so I separated them and to u have been thriving until a few months ago I noticed some yellowing in the trunk of the plant and now the leaves. It gets indirect bright light for about 10+ hours a day depending on the season. I included one of the guys that is not yellowing that lives on the same table with the same amount of light as the one with the most yellow. The last few waterings I’ve also only used distilled water if that’s helpful info. They are also very prone to leaning and one has a sap like substance on it especially on the main stalk. Could it be that they just want a bigger pot or inconsistent watering? Or something else- thanks in advance!

I just got this plant off a local take one/ leave one table. It had a sign on it that said the spots were from the sun but I'm not sure about that. Almost looks like some kind of rot to me since the stems are black. However the roots looked OK other than being root bound. Any ideas?

Does anyone know what would cause this? I can’t tell if it’s a pest, or if it’s my cat. It happened to the leaf next to it and that leaf is pretty much gone now. I did see my cat bat at that leaf yesterday, but haven’t seen him mess with the plant that much so if it’s my cat, he’d have to be eating it in the middle of the night. Although, I have a feeling it’s not him.

my jade pothos has (what i believe are) mealybugs. i haven't seen any adult mealies so i'm hoping i caught it relatively early, but this is my first time dealing with pests and help is appreciated! it's always isolated (the only plant in my bathroom) which is good- so i'm wondering how the heck it got bugs?! (i've had it for years and pretty much left it alone compared to my other plants). i sprayed/wiped it down with neem oil ~3 times and watered it with the neem oil solution. what's the next step? how long do i need to treat it? is this even mealies? and do they lay eggs near the top of the soil, because i did find egg like clusters in the soil. thank you so much in advance!

Hi guys,
I was watering my Asian Ponysfoot and while I was removing dead leaves few insects just fell to the ground. Is that Aphids? 😥 I applied BugFree Insecticide and put on quarantine (away from my other plants).

My newest pothos has this weird spot of discoloration on two leaves. It’s in a low light self watering pot and I’ve been spraying it with a pesticide since it’s been in quarantine. It hasn’t grown or gotten bigger but it hasn’t gotten on any more plants. I recently repotted it and it looked healthy so I’m not sure what the problem is.

Please help 🪴☀️ I just recently moved to a new apartment and I think the move was a little tough on my plants. This one in particular, Quincy - a bird of paradise, is having the hardest time. It’s been super hot in the apartment as we haven’t gotten AC yet. Her leaves are curling and the newest leaf is turning yellow. She is also starting to lean which she has never done before.
Any tips on either how to cool it down or prevent leaves from yellowing?

Hi all! Please help 😭 my snake plant is not doing well, we repotted roughly 2-3 weeks ago (she was way overdue for a repotting and she was doing really well)
We are planning to repot her tonight/tomorrow but any tips for this would be really appreciated! Thank you so much

What could be causing this? She’s in an east window receiving morning light. Boulder County.

I have this moth orchid, and when i bought her, she had every flower and looked pretty overall healthy, but then about two weeks after i got her some of her flowers began to wilt and then fall. Can somebody tell me what i might be doing wrong, or if this is normal? She’s watered twice a week, and i always make sure all water drains out of her soil before putting her back.

I repotted my fiddle fig about a week ago. Since then, it’s become extremely droopy. The leaves were turning brown, and it was dropping them. I used a soil meter to check the soil moisture, and it was extremely wet, which is why I repotted it. Surprisingly, the roots looked perfectly healthy. Is it just upset about being repotted? I also removed a few offshoots because the plant was very bushy, and the new growth at the bottom couldn’t get enough sunlight. I watered it yesterday because I was away for a week, and the soil dried out. I thought maybe the drooping was due to lack of water, but it still hasn’t perked back up!

One of my palms has raised black dots on it. Google says this is likely a fungus. I’ve cut out the leaves with black dots and sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide. Has anyone had success getting rid of this are there any other suggestions?

Can anyone help me identify why some of her leaves are turning brown, mushy and others dry and brittle on the ends? Any help is really appreciated!! She’s one of my favorites and I really don’t want her to die on me. Also should I take those leaves off so they don’t make her more sick?
Update so she’s doing not so great.. I have her in my humidity dome and she’s just not happy. I try low light, bright, indirect and her leaves still feel really dry and are curling and browning at the ends till they die off. I’ve also checked the roots so idk what it could be
