I have had this pothos for two years now, but only recently got brave enough to repot it as it was outgrowing its previous home. After repotting, it has this growing on the top of the soil. But the plant itself seems very happy, healthy, and has even grown a few new leaves! Is this something I should be concerned about, or is there something I should do to remove it? It has a drainage hole, and the soil doesnât appear to be holding too much water. Thanks!
does anyone know what's wrong with my begonia? the edges of the leaves keep getting mushy. it's had the same care for months and has been doing fine, growing new leaves and even flowering. ive already had to cut a couple leaves off pls help!
Hi all! This is my elephant plant. She has lost three leaves since I bought her one week ago. The leaves quickly turned yellow, so I removed them. I am not sure if this is normal because she is just adapting to her new environment or if she is on her way out already :( She has three large leaves, which all look like the one pictured. Does anyone know if this is a normal colour for the leaves or if this may be about to turn yellow too? If so, what is most likely causing this? I have just bought a grow light but have no idea how to use it. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
Does anyone know what these are and how to help? They popped up on my Chinese ever green. I think it might just be sunburnt but Iâm not sure. I need to make sure itâs not worse!
Hi everyone, I have a Peace lily âSensationâ in a pot (with a drainage hole) in one of our bathroom, next to a window (North facing). The plant recently started showing some black spots on leaves edge. I am not sure if its due to overwatering (that is my guess), or too much sunlight. I used to water them with watering can but now have to moved to bottom watering just because I think i might be overwatering them (even though all have a drainage hole) Could you please guide me on what I might be doing wrong? Or how to fix this up? Do I have to move my plant to a different location? Thanks for your help and feedback.
Could anyone help with my monstera? I donât know whatâs causing this
iâve had this monstera for almost 6months now, a new leaf has come out and this leaf has continued to curl further and further in. Iâm stuck on what to do but i donât want to have to chop this off if itâs not needed, please help!
Hi yâall I noticed this today with my Zebrinas stem. Is this rot? I checked the roots and they look fine. I am needing to change it to a larger pot though and Iâll be doing that tomorrow.
I think Iâm ready to give up on this little guy. I donât want to. Itâs just so many little leaves and itâs just not growing right still trying to keep it in the family.
Help! I canât figure out how to make this plant happy. The first photo is when I brought her home. Since then, many leaves have started to brown and I donât know what Iâm doing wrong! Iâm only using distilled water, and only watering when the leaves show a slight curl or droop. Iâve tried repotting into a bigger pot because the roots were growing out of the bottom, Iâve only gotten more brown leaves. Iâve moved to several locations as well as tried different grow light settings, nothing seems to help :( sheâs so pretty but sheâs stressing me out and I feel like itâs just going to end up all brown and dead soon :(
My begonia wax plant has spider mites and mealy bugsđ and I only got her yesterday! I just repotted her, tried rinsing method, and made a solution for the mealybugs. Hopefully she lives!!
Help please! Iâm a plant novice trying to care for this prayer plant. I have been watering according to schedule. It has been on the windowsill of a south-facing window. Does this look like too much sun or a watering problem? The soil felt dry but loose. Today is watering day.
I got this monstera recently and noticed these spots. Any idea what they are/how to treat. I havenât seen any actual live bugs and have been using captain jacks neem oil since I noticed
So Planta keeps diagnosing this poor squash seedling (zuchini) with ânot repottedâ, except itâs BEEN repotted. The soil is damp. It was fertilized recently. It is in a shady area but still gets sunlight. One of the leaves has huge dead spots on it, but I did notice just now the stem seems to have bent at some point. What corrective measures can I take to ensure the squash doesnât suffer in the wind (itâs outside) and doesnât break or bend any more stems? IS the broken stem the issue with this leaf, or is there something else going on I should be concerned with? I tried putting it in the part of the enclosure that gets the least wind/is best protected and hopefully that works, but itâs somewhat at the expense of available light, though I read squash donât like lots of bright light anyway.
Horridly rotted and then horridly dehydrated anthurium that died completely. Is there any hope of getting it back from these healthy roots. Thereâs technically a stem at the top but itâs pretty thoroughly rotted
Hello! My wife and I are first time homeowners and one of our first projects was to clean up all of the dead/overgrown plants. We are hoping to save this Sumac Bailtiger (at least thatâs what I believe it is) but are having no luck. 1.) Is there any hope or is it a lost cause? 2.) Any tips to try and revive this guy? Any advice is appreciated!
Is this just under watered blueberries?!
Got this from Loweâs, does this look like pests or damage done by kids lol!
Hi yall! I adopted this chive plant from my husbands coworker, itâs growing pretty well but was wondering if thereâs ways to make it fuller? The whole base of it looks dried but I donât want to hack at anything thatâs essential.
