Why does my moon flower have this?
First off this plant after having it for awhile is just now starting to root in its medium. I am not sure why it took so long. I am getting new growth but a lot of the lower leaves are shriveled and have developed these bumps. I just pulled it out of its soil and the new roots are white. I keep all my plants together and none of the others have these bumps. I haven’t see any pests. Any idea what this could be?
I’ve posted about this nuisance before but wanted to ask to see if I can find out what I did wrong. I repotted this beauty because it had been a year and a half and throughout that time hadn’t bloomed again after the initial bloom at purchase. Once I repotted all the roots shriveled up despite watering it. Now I am left with one root and a few places where I see roots are starting to form, see picture below for set up now. I’ve removed it from its medium because clearly that wasn’t working (clear pot with holes to allow air flow and miracle mix of the orchid variety). I stopped putting the clear pot in the decorative pot because I thought lack of sunlight on the roots and bark might be part of the problem… at this point i am not sure if it’s a lost cause or if there is something else I can try to fix it.
Yall, I don’t know what to do about this plant. Its an elephant foot plant and I water it once a week. I assumed that since its a leafy plant it would need more water, now I’m questioning it because it is just getting worse. What do yall think?
After & before photos How can I perk my pink angel back up? This photos is 2 days after repotting. Do I need to wait or do I need to do something before she dies 😭
I was really hoping to get some help about a potential pest problem. I’m pretty new to the house plant community and I’m not quite sure what happened. My garden croton over the last week has had its leaves dry up and start drooping and when I pulled him out of the nursery pot there was a bunch of mite looking bugs surrounding the bottom of the pot. I have isolated the plant but with the plant looking so rough should I repot or is my plant done for? If this is a pest any recommendations for my other plants would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
My sister recently got a zebra plant. A couple days ago it just kinda died almost. The leaves are all curled up and it’s not happy. Any tips??
How do I fix my poor calla lily? Shes looking a little sad today.
Ok here’s what I’m thinking. I bought this monstera a couple of years ago and the prior owner kept it in a rather dog place so it’s gotten quite leggy. You can see right to left how thin the main stem is and then it begins to slowly thicken. I’m afraid it won’t be able to bear the weight eventually so I’m thinking…chop and prop? Air layer? How do I just remove that two foot long section of leggy stem and keep the thicker growth on top? Thoughts?
Howdy! I have Pilea Peperomioides that produces some tiny, sticky, clear droplets on the stem. Do you guys think it’s from pest infestation or is it normal and I don’t have to worry about it? Can’t see any bugs/insects, but maybe I’m just inattentive.
Could anyone tell me what’s going on with my dieffenbachia? I came back to yellowing leaves on some leaves and i checked for pests i didn’t see any, she’s not overwatered the soil is dry and she gets plenty of sun so i’m so lost!
I’m growing woodland sage on my balcony and the flowers have all dried up and turned brown — assuming I should cut those back so that the new flowers can grow in correct? I’m new at this!!
Hello! My step mom gave me a bunch of cuttings of her plans back in December & my Monsteras have been particularly sickly looking… what is this & what should I do/not do? ***For context, I separated the Monsteras before they were potted based on root growth. The second picture is one of the plants I separated from the main one. It’s been brown like that for months but hasn’t gotten worse.
My new peach tree has peach leaf curl, with fruit ranging from very small to about the size of a golf ball. Is it safe to treat it or should I do something else? Saving the tree is the primary concern. Thanks.
Hey, I’ve had this marbled pothos for quite some time now and I feel like it’s not doing as well as it could. The new growth is kind of spotty and turning brown in some spots, and in general it’s really not growing as fast as other pothos’s I’ve seen. For quite some time I believe it was lacking in light, as it’s quite far from a window but I recently added a grow light. What could I do to maybe make her feel better?
Hi! Mom to this new alocasia! I got it on sale but after I brought it home, some leaves (this is the third) have turned completely yellow. I havent overwatered it. Not sure if it’s a lighting issue
Hi guys help! What is eating my green beans??
Totally new to this whole plant thing, but I got this pothos at cvs (I know🙄) but it’s leaves looked pretty good when I got it but now the leaves are turning brown with holes and the new growth looks like it also has brown spots?? Is this bugs or am I watering too much? I usually bottom water and then pour a little on the soil on top until it drains out and then let it sit for like 30 mins to drain as well, also if it’s bugs what can I use to get rid of them?? I also don’t leave them in this window all the time, I just had them there earlier for some sun before it went down
IM IN NEED OF HELP should i be worried about these there in almost all my plants
Just got this philodendron at Walmart on clearance for only $5. Any recommendations for helping it bounce back?
