I got this weeping fig a week or two ago, and Iâve just noticed this mildew-like stuff on it. When I scratch it it rubs off, and itâs definitely not a living insect as far as I can see. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello, Iâm a plant dad, and I really need help, my Majesty Palm (Maggie) that Iâve had for 5 years is not doing well. I donât know what to do. I noticed here not doing well so I repotted her, while doing that I separated her roots. Sheâs not getting better. Sheâs turning yellowish brown, a new leaf sprouted and died before it grew. The pot is huge, and the soil is wet closer to the bottom but kind of moist towards the top. Because of that Iâm scared to water her because of the fear of over watering. Maggie has been with me through som really times Iâm extremely sad and concerned about her, I donât want to lose her. Someone PLEASE HELP

Hi there! My bamboo shoots are all yellow, iâm thinking from fertilizer. The side shoots are both pushing out a new leaf. Any advice? Should I cut the side shoots and propagate in water for a bit? :/

Hi all! Iâve been going nuts with fungus gnats for a while now and I was wondering what soil people use and if they have a better option? Iâve tried miracle gro and espoma but both have tons of gnats fresh out of the bag. I heard it can be about how the store stores the bag? I liked fox farm happy frog but definitely got thrips from it (timing, location, reintroduction). I know gnats arenât a huge problem, and pests are a part of plant parenthood, but Iâm just trying to see if there is another option? I even got into carnivorous plants, but I still feel like Iâm constantly surrounded by gnats. Iâm not ready to go semi-hydro but I would be willing to mix my own stuff if that is what it takes. Can anyone tell me whatâs wrong with my mini monstera? It was doing fine then in the past week its going limp and turning yellow. Should i cut some pieces to propagate?

Even with a grow light my little Swiss is still getting yellow leaves. This one popped up yesterday and is getting yellower by the minute. What am I doing wrong. Iâm a beginner with house plants but I want to learn. Iâve become disabled and Iâm hoping this brings me comfort.

Iâve only been watering when the top is dry⊠I havenât had this plant for very long, only about a month or so. The two leaves that are yellowing are the first two on the second stalk, idk if itâs the same plant or a second plant. All other plants I got from the shop I got this one from have been doing amazing so I think itâs something Iâve been doing. Whatâs happening to my raphidaphora tetrasperma?

There are a lot of white dots on my Asterisk Ivy. It feels almost dusty to the touch as well near the spots. Does anyone know whatâs wrong with it? Or is this something I shouldnât worry about?

Hello! I am a semi-new bamboo palm owner of âZoroâ (if you know One Piece, ;) youâll get it) and as of a few weeks ago, the leaves have been dying off, new stems have been growing weaker and some not even making it past an inch long before browning, and we have noticed some mealy bugs. Any tips! We are desperately trying to save him. Thank you!

Just found a single fungus gnat on a plant placed where the X is. Iâve checked the nearby plants and there are no signs of other pests, but is there anything I should do to prevent the spread? Iâve isolated the infected plant in another room and am treating it with insect control.
