Hey, just looking for some help with my eastern redbud. I planted two of them around three months ago. One has thrived but this one is turning yellow and brown. The leaves are crispy and the bend test snaps the branch, while the healthy tree bends easily. It gets plenty of water and sun, so Iâm a little stumped on how to help it out. Any advice?
Hey all, Iâve had my polka dot plant for a little over a month now and she has grown a lot since I got her. But recently Iâve noticed a little bit of yellowing ruining her aesthetics đȘ I repotted about 2 weeks ago hoping maybe it was because the roots were hanging out the bottom so needed a size up but wanted to give it time to settle in to new environment before I did so⊠would you recommend I prune them off or any trouble shooting recommendations? TIA âșïž
Hi! I got an Anthurium Queremalese plant last week which I thought was healthy and simply had some burn spots on the leaves, but as the days have passed the leaves are getting more yellow and damaged. Iâve turned the leaves over and the smallest leaves have these larvae - though I have no idea what they might be. Whatâs the best I can do/ advice to save this plant? Thank you!
Ive been having a problem with aphids lately. I cant get ladybugs cause my plants are in my bedroom, what are some things ppl have used to get rid of them?

Does anyone know what this is? I noticed them last week on my hibiscus plant
What's wrong with my z plant?
Can anyone tell me what this could be in my scindapsus? Iâve checked for pests and see no signs of anything, am I letting her dry out too much between watering? This is the only leaf right now that has this, so Iâd like to solve before it becomes more widespread.
Anyone use horticultural charcoal in their soil mixes? Do you see any benefit? I donât think my soil is chunky enough and Iâm considering adding some charcoal to it.
Another casualty of having to go away unexpectedly just before a heatwave đ This poor little one didnât like being neglected and lost lots of its leaves and colour. I cut it back as much as I dared when I got home and it seems to be regrowing some shoots but itâs still very leggy. Now Iâm wondering how far back I can cut it to bring it back into proportion. If I cut any of the big stems back, will it grow from the roots? Or can I only take it back as far as the existing nodes?
Hi! I got this Vicks plant (plectranthus tomentosa) about a year ago. It was vibrant and blooming and so huge that it was falling out of the pot, so I decided to repot it. I then brought it back to school with me about two weeks after, where the climate is colder, and it started dropping leaves (leaves turned grey and crispy) and the base of the plant started turning brown and woody. Fast forward a half a year, and it has basically stopped growing at all. It just exists as a woody stump thing whose few leaves just die. I tried using fertilizer and it got a few new leaves, but then they died within two weeks. Please help, I feel like I killed this plant and I can't figure out how to bring it back.
UPDATEEE *sigh* I donât know what happened butâŠ. Any chance of recovery now :( Iâm really sad :( I really donât want him to die please (I donât know:( )
SOS đ đđ Hello my Very Very beloved air plant that I call microwave is not doing well pls help Iâm very attached to him lol he was dry then I watered him and now⊠I hope itâs not rot :( thank you Pls :(
Hello! I saved this beautiful guy yesterday. He has plastic wrapping around him so I didnât realise how droopy he was. He has some pretty bad leaves on him that I cut off, all crispy and sad :( I took his pot off and saw that his roots looked all healthy and nice. No pests at all too which is good! However⊠his soil was bone dry!! Iâm assuming he is like this because he wanted a drink but please give me any tips and suggestions for him. I know calatheas donât particularly like tap water but I have a filter on my tap and another brita filter too. Just incase Iâve ordered some water conditioner for him. Hopefully with time he will perk up a bit. Any tips will be greatly appreciated!
Someone help me, Iâve had this money tree for a few months and it was doing great, I repotted because the soil was moist, now I think itâs just dyingâŠ
Hi Iâve had this plant for a little over a year now and itâs been doing pretty good as far as I can tell but recently we brought it down from on top of my cabinet and found that it appears to be rotting or something at the base of one of them. I believe itâs a Hurricane Cactus but still not sure. The other plant in the same pot is doing fine so it shouldnât be overwatering or anything but now it has this thin leathery texture and Iâm a little worried for it. We got it when we went to Oregon and is kind of like a souvenir so Iâd like to keep it alive
What are these little brown nodules on the leaves of my cork bark Jade? How can I get rid of them?
Hiii! So my cilantro and basil plants have pretty recently developed these bits of white spots, can anyone help me figure out what it is and spooky scary it is for my babies?
Why is my string of bananas drying up? I have been watering it when the leaves are squishy and wrinkly. I want to fix this problem before it gets worse.
