I bought this Gardena for my mother recently and it hasnāt been doing well. I keep it indirect sunlight like my local garden center said to and I water regularly. I think it may be thrips (there is spots on the bottom of the leaves) please tell me what you think !

Help! My monstera is getting brown spots on the edges of the variegation, what am I doing wrong? Planta doc said too much light but Iām not so sure. Itās in a super chunky mix and I try to let it dry before watering. Part sun window, with only a couple hours of direct light, if that.
I donāt know hats wrong but I feel like my plant isnāt very happy right now and Iām not too sure why. Some of the larger leaves lack structure and a few leaves with browning tips and Iām not too sure what to do. Any suggestions?
Hey all, so I have my first orchid and I definitely listened to the wrong people and had potting mix in this. I repotted it after I got it. This was one of my first plants so didnāt really know the rules of not doing that, using the orchid mix etc. Iāve just repotted it tonight with the proper mix, and gave it a water. Is this one hopefully gonna make it or seems like a goner? I donāt see any rot when I took it out and the roots looked thick and green
My 20 year old rubber plant which is usually very happy has developed some marks on its leaves & I canāt figure out what the problem is. Iāve been careful with watering & started feeding the soil again once spring started. Any advice would be great, itās part of the family!
I have been told about 2 planters of succulents in an office setting. They have had fresh soil in the past 2 months and unfortunately had not been in good light. They were just moved to very good light now and have been doing good. Unfortunately one has had lost 2 of the succulents (see picture). They also.appear to have produced small flying gnats and possible ant like pests. The ant like pests come up from the soil when the planter is lightly shaken. I need help on this one. Been reading alot of tips. But would like to tell the office people what to do.
Seriously what am I doing wrong what should I do???
My one caladium is not at all doing well I need some help it doesnāt make much sense my other 2 caladiums are doing amazing and getting huge but this one is not healthy

Hey yāall!! So I am located in southeast Idaho so it is dry ALL the time (it is currently 19% humidity), super hot in the summer, and super cold in the winter. I few months ago I was gifted a Boston fern. They are gorgeous so I understand why but I also know that Idaho is really not the place for them! Brandon the Boston Fern has been doing okay for the conditions he has been given but today I noticed crispy tipsš I mist him probably once or twice a week and follow plantas water schedule as long as itās needed (has been everytime lol). If anyone has any tips and tricks let me know!
Iāve had this basil for about 3 weeks, always inside. It started to get black spots on it this week. Is this bacterial? It has plenty of light and drainage.
This poor plant is an attempted rescue - the last potential survivor from a plant catastrophe in my mother in lawās rented house where the light didnāt reach and the heating wasnāt on downstairs through the winter. I had to cut the plastic pot off to repot it, and even being as gentle as possible, only shreds of the root system remained intact. Iām a monstera and pothos kind of plant parent and donāt know much about succulents - the first photos are the rescue operation and the final photo is today. Itās looking pretty grey and toppling out of its pot if moved too quickly. Is it alive or am I just propping up a dead plant? If thereās hope for it, how much should I water it while waiting for roots to develop?
anyone have any thoughts on what to do with my mother of thousands getting so leggy ?
My poor TrioStar I donāt know whatās happening some one help
Hi all! I recently picked up this beauty off Facebook marketplace. It says tropical foliage on the tag - I think itās a bird of paradise. It has browning leaves but also a new leaf is still coming into fruition so thereās a lot of hope! I am still fairly new to planting and this task seems daunting so I want to make sure I do everything right. Any recs for getting her back to health? I am going to add a lot more soil to the pot & she is in a sunny sunny room but otherwise im not sure of the next steps!!!
Hi! What are these spots on the Echinopsis? How do you get rid of them? Repotted these guys from the ground to a pot and saw they had these spots. (They were covered in weeds and grass clippings - if that helps)
Iāve had this snake plant for a few years. Recently the leaves started pulling out. I have no idea what the root system in these looks like but Iād say it was overwatered and started to rot which is why the leaves are just pulling out of the soul. Iām going to repot it, probably in the same pot but I need some advice. Maybe a step by step guide. Should I throw these leaves out or are the salvageable
My carnations were doing well as you can see. I recently moved it from my center island in my kitchen to a bookshelf that has a grow light. Apparently the light was too much. It was there for maybe three days. I noticed it browning and the leaves dying in some parts. I put it outside on my table for now. What can I do?
Relatively new to houseplant care. What is this pest and what do I do about it? Just noticed them recently and am horrified
Iām looking for some advice about my jade plant. When I got it a little over a year ago it already had some unhealthy leaves, but it has seemed to have gotten a lot worse since then. Quite a few of the leaves have shriveled and died. Iām not sure if Iāve been watering it too much, too little, or just inconsistently. I water it about every month when the soil is completely dry. It sits next to a window and gets a decent amount of light. I canāt figure out what Iām doing wrong. Any suggestions on what might be causing this, or tips on how I can help it recover? (The picture on the left is what it looked like when I got it. The picture on the right is its current state.)
