I watered my snake plant today and discovered what looks like mites in the soil. They are VERY small and they don’t appear on any of the leaves, just in the wet soil.
What are these bugs?
How did my plant get them?
Are they a risk to me or my 2 indoor cats?
How can I get rid of them?

Could this crispy spot on my peperomia be due to under watering? Noticed it while watering today. I keep it under grow lights.

My Tornado Dracaena is rapidly getting worse! It’s the one plant I struggle to keep alive. The leaves are turning blotchy bright yellow and the tips are turning back. Could this be from over watering? I looked up tips and it was recommended to repot it in dry soil so I tried that. Any tips or recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks!

I believe my plant is a Persian Shield, but it lost a lot of the purple color and has become really crunchy. It’s one of my newer plants and I’m not sure why it’s doing this and why it’s losing color. This all started happening about 3 months ago but recently started getting crunchy and browning on the edges. Help!!!

my alocasia leaves have brown ends, it came like this from the garden centre however i'm wondering what caused this so that i can help avoid it with its new leaves it's growing (it's grown 2!) and so that i can also prevent it from spreading, so i need to snip the ends off? remove the leaves as a whole?

Plant doctor says overwatering. Don't think that's right. Any ideas? I cleaned off the leaves with an alcohol wipe and sprayed them with a neem oil mix and put the plant in quarantine just in case.

my parlor palm has some leaves that are becoming discolored. she does get direct sun for about 4-5 hours a day so I think it may just be sun burn. i’m more worried if this could be mites?? she has some little white dots but no other signs

Help, my string of pearls was looking very healthy until about a week ago, and now most of its ‘strings’ are either becoming shriveled or rotten and there’s some sort of mold/ miniature ant-like animals running around the soil

Help!! My monstera albo has some sort of pest. I bought an insecticidal soap and hope this will kill it but I want to make sure it actually will work for this type of bug. Any advice?

I got this ivy a few weeks ago and it was doing great for a while, but got overwatered and I think it had root rot. I repotted it, changed out the soil, and trimmed off the roots that looked the worst. It’s been about a week since then and it still looks crispy and I’m not sure what to do about it, or if I did something wrong. Thank you :)

Does anyone know the potential problem for my leaf to be doing this? Is it just getting old and dying? It has a new leaf coming too so does that mean it’s ok?

Hello! Ive had this monstera for nearly two months now and it seemed to be doing pretty well, new growth and fenestration in the new leaves, but recently I’ve noticed these black/brown patches on the older leaves and the tip of the most recent leave is brown before its even unfurled. Google has so many options on what could be causing this anything more specific would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

My rubber plant has been thriving and growing a lot over the time that I’ve had it. Lately though, I’ve been noticing a sweet, sugary smell coming from the soil. Usually I wouldn’t mind, but it’s attracting gnats, so I’ve had to put sticky traps in the soil and always see sooooo many of them stuck on there.
It otherwise seems to be doing great. Is my plant sick?

erm what are these spots on my philodendron narrow? i’ve looked it up and it seems these plants have this commonly, any ideas??? i think it’s EFN based on my very brief research.

My gloriosum started showing these spots. I’m not sure what they are from. There is no visible pest on any of my plants and there is healthy new growth. Just wondering if anyone had a similar thing happen, and what it was/ how you treated it. I have been spraying with insecticide and neem oil just in case.
