so my little celosias are not doing great. when we water them in the morning they perk up a little bit then throughout the day they start to really droop. i live in nevada. and about this time of year itâs cold at night but hot during the day. iâm assuming they donât like the cold. any suggestions? or do these guys just not live during the cold months?

Hi so went to look at my Venus flytrap Jeff Iâve had him a few weeks and I come to check on him this morning and annoying I didnât get a photo of it but on one of the stalks saw a tiny transparent worm which after a google search is a nematode and now apparently there are good nematodes and bad ones and before I could think about making the pest evacuate the premises itâs jumped into the soil so what do I do? How do I know if itâs a dodgy one or not donât want to kill Jeff

Good morning! We have a wonderful little pineapple plant thatâs been doing really well for the last year, but all of a sudden the stalk that holds up the pineapple has begun to yellow and looks like itâs going to give up soon (weâre also propping up the pineapple with a chopstick!). Any ideas on how to save it? Thank you!

Hello, Iâm a fairly new plant mom & have been troubleshooting this plant for the last month. At first I thought it was infected so I started spraying it with copper fungicide. That seemed to help a little bit I could tell the problem is deeper. I was finally able to dump the pot of soil to check the roots and this is what they look like. The flower shop that sold me this plant gave it to me in a planter that had zero drainage holes, so the soil was super moist even tho weâve only watered it minimally. đ« Do yiu think the brown spots and sickness was solely due to no drainage or something else too? Iâm repotting today with my own mix of good draining soil, perlite, peat moss. I pray I can revive this beauty. Should I just trim the brown part from the leaves or what else can I do to help this sick plant? Any advice would be greatly appreciated đ

Thereâs a bunch of really tiny (like so small I canât get a picture) green bugs on my plants and idk if theyâre bad or not. There doesnât seem to be any damage to the plants so I think they might just live there. Any thoughts??

Hi all! What do u think is wrong with my aloe plant!? I recently trimmed those inner leaves, the outer ones have been cut for a while. It may not get enough water or sunlight- Included the distance from the glass door
So should I cut those guys off? I am sure to use cinnamon to close the wounds after cuttings to prevent bacteria but maybe it didnât help

Hi there, I am a pretty experienced plant parent who hasnât had pests up until this point. However I am very paranoid that my Philodendron might have thrips. Any thoughts? I have also noticed in the past that my pothos nâjoy has had what appears to be dirt on the bottom of the leaves (sorry I donât have a photo)⊠I would appreciate any advise you all have!

Have had this mystery plant for a little over a year and there have been no issues, but recently she developed brown spots all over her leaves. She is usually in low light a few feet from the window, and I water her daily, so I was curious if it could be root rot (and if so, what I should do). Would greatly appreciate if anyone knows what she is or could give a diagnosis. :)

Hi everyone! I recently got my Ponytail Palm around a month or so ago and this started happening. I watered it a bit a couple days ago and left it alone to hopefully heal but it still looks like this. The soil is completely, completely dry so Iâm watering it a bit again. Anyone know whatâs happening and how to fix it??

My little cat decided she was hungry, though she constantly eats and throws it up, so her first option was the air plant I had on the top shelf on a faraway bookshelf. Apparently she didnât see the two food bowls she had to pass to get to it, so. Here it is.
Quick note, the reason I posted this under âPests, diseases and problemsâ is b/c my cat is all of those things
I love her though. Somehow.

Planta is telling me my money tree is not getting enough sun. This makes no sense to me because she is as close to my window as possible, and my room gets long hours of afternoon sun. Is Planta right or should I just ignore it? (And I do have the correct info in the settings of the plant that says she is right by the window.)
