Anyone know what these bumps growing out of my Cosmo flowers are?
Hi all! My peace Lily never usually gives me problems. She only drooped when she needed a good water then would bounce back the next day. Now sheâs drooping and I donât know why. I repotted into a bigger pot (6â into 8â) about 20 days ago. And I water about once a week. Today was water day but her soil is still moist. Sheâs been in the same spot since I got her which was a few months ago now (first pic), which is about 7ft away from my big southwest facing window. Some of her leaves are crimped as well. I wonder if she has too much light? I could place her in a shaded corner that still gets some light (second pic) if you think that might help.
Any hope for saving my calathea? :( I stopped misting it in case the spots are from fungus or water build up, and recently switched to filtered water. Would welcome any other ideas
Good morning everyone, today when I was about to water my plants I noticed something wrong with my Jasmine, can someone help?
Say hello to my little friends! Found hitchhikers on a syngonium ghost/holly plant Iâve had in my house about 10 days. I quarantine every plant at least a month after doing a complete inspection of the leaves. The bugs must have been in the soil. Because none were on the leaves or I missed them. They are tiny. I was about to brush one off when it crawled! Yeesh!đŹ I treated the plant with soapy water in my recycled hand sanitizer bottles left over from COVID. (These Suave bottles make excellent misters putting out a fine spray.)
dark spots along stems along with some yellowing tips. still producing new shoots. outdoor plant with mostly shade directly under an oak tree.
bugs? something else? not seen on any other leaves. has been outside for a few months now directly underneath an oak tree. no visible pests at this time
Hi everyone! I have two Calatheas (not sure what type they are) and Iâve noticed some of the leaves are wilting in a weird way. Some of the leaves are also getting brown spots as if itâs dry, but the soil is still wet so I donât think it needs water. Iâm new to the plant parenthood so Iâm not quite sure what to do. They seem overall healthy and have new leaves growing, but Iâm sure thereâs something going on. Can someone please help? What should I do? đ
Getting brown spots. Please help đ
Iâm starting to notice bugs that are hiding in my plants soil, some look like this & other ones look like this but with a bigger body & smaller legs. I just watered my plants today, thatâs why the soil is wet looking. I usually let them dry out a little bit before watering again. Any idea on what these bugs are? How can I naturally get rid of them? Moneys a little tight in my house.. Theyâre in my vegetable/herb plant soil, but none of my actual houseplants soil.
Hope philo browning tips: - lives next to a humidifier that constantly runs and under a grow light - I mist almost every other day with a capful of dr. Bronners soap to help mitigate fungus gnats - I feel confident in the watering schedule using a meter to only water when it hits the line between moist and dry (I do not let it dry out). - liquid fertilize once a month - soil does read high alkaline, wondering if that might be an issue? Otherwise Iâm stumped. Had this guy for 9 months now and most new leaves look healthy. Spotted one small one with similar browning.
The purple flower-looking part of this Purple Heart spiderwort is crispy đ Any advice/has anyone dealt with this before? TIA!
What is going on with my Alocasia Nebula? Iâve had it for a couple weeks now and itâs slowly started to look like this. Iâve only watered it once since Iâve had it and itâs kept near an east facing window that has a sheer curtain over it, in a room with a humidifier so itâs consistently got 50-70% humidity. Not sure what to do with this!
This monstera plant needs a bit of help if anyone has any tips.
Need help with two very sad looking pothos - one marble queen and one neon. Not totally sure what happened but these two started getting really leggy and sad after I repotted them this spring. The neon one had root rot issues in the past from being grown in water so couldâve been that. Not sure about the marble queen, I think the pot mightâve been to big for it. I chopped and propped a lot of them in hopes that I could recover them and the neon pothos started regrowing some new leaves but they are much smaller. They both get plenty of morning light from an east facing window. Any recommendations on how I could make them look more full again and have them start producing bigger foliage?
Am I watering too much? Got this plant from Aldi for a steal but she look unhappy with yellowing leaves. I new to tropical-ish plants.
Whatâs wrong with my orchid?
Hi! Iâve had this polka dot plant for about a year and itâs always been pretty unhappy. Iâve changed the watering schedule a lot but that hasnât really had an impact. Right now itâs watered every 10 days or so. Itâs next to a west facing window so it gets direct sun for a few hours everyday. That part that gets the most seems to be the happiest. Could it be a light problem? I plan on repotting soon to see if that helps!
My olive tree is thriving but should i be pruning off the bare branches at all? This is my first attempt at this type of plant and I donât want to ruin my progress so far
I am bamboozled! What is happening?
