I recently moved my moth orchid to another corner of my room due to being told that this side is better for the orchid. I noticed a black spot on the leaves and don’t know what caused it. I watered it a couple days ago after the roots were dry (or so I thought). How do you treat it?

This is my silly little fiddle leaf fig. I moved him from TX to CO a year ago, and he decided to strip all of his leaves (I’m guessing because of shock). A year later, he still looks pretty naked, but is slowly regrowing leaves at the top. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Or any advice to help re-kickstart its growth? (I have a feeling it wanted to grow taller, on the other hand, the stems are pretty thin so idk)

Hi, I got this miniature rose about a week ago and bottom watered yesterday and it sort of immediately drooped out to the sides. I made sure to gently squeeze any excess water out and it’s not sitting in any in its pot. I thought I might’ve squeezed a little too hard and unsettled the soil but it is still the same the next morning. I’ve never owned a rose before, I mostly have orchids so I don’t really know what I’m doing but it’s dropping lots of leaves with the slightest touch and even the ends of some stalks. I moved it to my windowsill this morning as the app suggested it wasn’t getting enough light. I’ve added a photo to show what it looked like before and after, any help is appreciated! P.S I’m in uni accom so my repotting options are limited šŸ˜…

What do you do when your African Violet gets a long stalk? Do I chop it off and replant it or do I just leave it? I know it’s had issues, but I’m trying to revive it.

I got this plant collection as a birthday present from 1800 Flowers. It’s of course absolutely freezing outside and the soil was soaking wet. This baby rubber plant (I think) isn’t looking good. Is this frost damage? Is he a goner? I am having a hard time trying to find its roots.

Hi! This is my second pickle plant and I’m not sure if it was already hurting when i bought it or if i’m doing something wrong. Any tips? It’s in direct sun and i’ve been treating it like a succulent and only watering when dry.

Howdy! New to the plant parenting realm and looking for advice for two of my plants that seem to be really struggling this winter. My poor babies need help. My Golden Pothos(I think; 1st pic) has saggy/drooping leaves. I just repotted, removed dying vines and added leca balls. My Prayer Plant (2nd pic) has leaves that are curling and has had a lot of yellowing leaves that have been removed. Repotted, added leca balls and moved into a room with a humidifier. My Ficus Bonsai(3rd pic) has lost majority of its leaves, not sure why. I added leca balls and started to water less. Any insight on these babies is greatly appreciated!

Any advice for getting rid of spider mites? I have two rubber trees that I have been battling spider mites for months. I treated with neem oil after hosing them down in the shower but they always seem to come back. I have also tried wiping down the plants regularly. I am pretty on top of it so I notice pretty quick when they are back but would like to get rid of them for good.

What plants survive well under air vents? I have lost a couple in that spot in the house.

I repotted my fiddle leaf fig maybe a month ago but I think I did a bad jobšŸ‘ŽšŸ» I was wondering if it would be wise to try again or should I just leave it? Thank you!

Sick (or dead) bambo

Can you guys please tell me why my bamboo turned like this? I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or if my cat might peed on it. I’m just very sad because I’ve had it for more than 4 years and it was always so beautiful. I’m not sure if it’s dead or not, but please someone tell me if there’s anything to do to save it.

Hey! So I’ve had this pothos for about a year maybe, I’ve had no problems with her until now and (she was getting big and beautiful she’s not so big now because recently I went a little chop and prop crazy 🫢) but I’ve been having a ton of fungus nats, so I used 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 4 parts water to get rid of the eggs in the soil. Today when I looked at her, some of her leaves looked like this! Lots of Black spots on the leaves. At first I was afraid it was a pest problem, but I didn’t see anything, and it happened so suddenly, so now I’m afraid that maybe I sprayed her with too much hydrogen peroxide? Or maybe that I got it on her leaves and I wasn’t supposed to? Any advice, or knowledge would be GREATLY appreciated and very helpful, thank you in advance!! Ps. I also very recently repotted her, because I realized the pot she was in was way too big for her, and I also changed the soil so now she’s in a perlite/soil mix

This dracaena plant was one of my first plant purchases last spring… I honestly don’t pay much attention to it because it’s been fairly boring/slow growing, but recently it’s gotten some areas with yellow and brown, not sure what’s causing it? The leaves it’s appearing on are the newer leaves too…

My friend’s heat broke for ~48 hours during this cold snap in Michigan and a lot of her stems froze (temp got down to 28F in her house by the end). Now they’re wilted after defrosting, and it’s unclear which can be saved. Any advice for figuring out which ones are okay? Has anyone dealt with a sudden frost snap before? How can she prevent fungus as they recover? Any help is appreciated!
