Whatâs wrong
Anyone know why my flamingo is losing its red color on these two leaves. It just grew a new one around the time they started turning yellow. Is this normal progression or is this something wrong. Iâve only had it for a couple months but until now Iâve had no problems.
THRIPS!! Does any one have a sure-fire way to rid my monsterra of them for good? This guy was doing great, then all of a sudden those lil b@&tards come out of nowhere and decided to reek havoc on my plants. No new ones have been brought in, in quite some time! It seemed to be as soon as summer hit, there they were! I have been using we are the wild protect with Neem spray, seems to be helping, but is there something else I should do?!
This plant lost ALL of its golden leaves and most of its green leaves when I first got it but then came back 10 times more gorgeous!! Remember this plant is you feel like all of your color is gone! It always comes back đ
Does anyone know what to do with this. Iâve sorted what caused it. But donât know whether to leave it or prune it off. Any help please
Hi, I found that my Guiana Chestnut/money tree had a bunch of ants in the soil when I went to water it the other day. I sprayed it with a warm water, dish soap, and organic pest control spray that has peppermint oil, and submerged it in water to get the ants out, then repotted it. Today I came back to check and there are ants on it again, so Iâve put it outside then Iâll probably get rid of it. My problem now is that keep seeing some more ants crawling on my windowsill around my other plants and Iâm worried theyâre going to get into my other plants. Iâve read that they only go into plants if the plant is sick or has mildew or something, so Iâm hoping they wonât go in my others if thereâs nothing wrong with them? But Is there anything I should do to keep them out of the rest of my plants? And how do I know theyâre not getting in my others now? Thanks for any help!
Ok so I have 5 mums and only one of them seems to be surviving repotting. Any ideas as to why? And can I still save them?
What is happening to my dieffenbachia? Only one leaf looks like this! This plant is 2ft from a window, gets watered, has drainage, and diluted fertilizer.
HELP i recently transplanted this african violet and a few of his flowers died and some of his leaves look weird! what should i do!?
Hey Hey, This is my weeping fig plant that I got about 6 months back. But now, all the leaves dropped and itâs completely dryyyy. How do I mnow if it died or is there any possibility for me to recover my plant?
Does anyone else know what would cause my alocasia to get brown tips like these? I propagated them from corms. Theyâve been in leca the whole time. Dr. Planta says lack of drainage. I only put a bit of water in the jar (see pic). Is it still too much water? I realize the leca is wet in the picture, I just watered it. The leca is usually pretty dry except at the bottom obviously. lol
I was wondering whatâs going on with my plant
Hello! Please help! Why has my dracenea developed all of these yellow spots? She has been healthy for almost 2 years, and then we moved this summer and the yellow spots started appearing. I recently repotted to see if that would help (bigger pot, all fresh well-draining soil). Any advice would be very helpful!
Does anyone know why only a few leaves of my Kentia Palm have gone brown at the edges and the middle? A few more leaves have brown tips also. Have had for almost a year. Is situated under a window so no direct light on soil but some sunlight hits the leaves in the morning. Thank you! Issy
Someone please help with my caladium it has these brown splodges all over it. The smaller leaf is new and does not look healthy. There are 2 other new leaves unfurling that also donât look great. And one of them has split several times whilst trying to open out. Please help. Iâve noticed a few thrips and been wiping them off but not loads
Hi, I believe my Lady plant is a fiddle fig - she is my first and only plant and I fear she is dying đą the info i find online is so overwhelming because I know absolutely nothing about plants. Can someone help me keep her alive? She leans hard so i have a loose ribbon holding her tall. Her stem used to be green now has browned, is this ok? Is she ok?
A few weeks ago I posted about my large fiddle leaf fig that I bought from someone and within 2 days it dropped all of its leaves and appeared to be dying. I took for peopleâs advice here and cut it way back and now all of these tiny adorable leaves are growing!! What next steps should I take other than letting her do her thing?! When I did cut it the white sap came from the top of the limbs so knew that was a good sign⊠just want her to grow upward but didnât want to do too much just yet since she looks to be coming back to life somehow. I appreciate any and all feedback for my fiddle leaf fig tree! đ€
Help why is this leaf yellowing? I water with filtered water when top inch is dry and keep the plant 8 feet from an east facing window next to a humidifier.
PEST OR PARANOID? Is this a pest or a fleck of nothing? I saw it and dismissed it as a fleck of nothing, so I threw it away without looking at it with a magnifying glass (but not before I took a picture). Now looking back at the picture, Iâm kicking myself. It really looked like NOTHING when I examined it up close and personal, but the picture says otherwise. Iâm ruling myself out as an unreliable eyewitness and asking for help. Google Images was inconclusive, but seemed to agree it was some sort of bug. Released a single ladybug on my plants in this area just in case, mostly so I could feel like I was doing something about the âissue.â But now worried Iâm waking up to a full-on infestation of aphids because I didnât inspect further, hose it down, treat it, etc.
Why is my money tree base like this? Is it rotting?
