my plant used to be growing so many leaves now it’s lost 3 in the last few weeks and isn’t growing anymore i don’t know what i’ve done i’ve followed everything i should be? it looks like now there’s a hole in the stem?

Mold seems to be growing on the soil and now on those adventitious roots towards the bottom :( what is the best way to get rid of this?? I have a feeling it’s because this soil stays moist for way too long, which I plan to change out when it’s time for repotting, but help in the meantime would be much appreciated!!

My silver inch doesn’t seem happy, loads of brown leaves ☹️ anyone know what could cause the issue? Im finding it hard to gauge if it’s over or underwatered, following the recommended plan. Thank you!

Does anyone know what I should do? Almost all her leaves have grown tips or fading green color. She was root bound, repotted her, monitoring her water and still not happy. I just bought this grow light and hope maybe it’s the culprit. I do see new leaves coming up but not sure what else to do?

Just found an explosion of spider mites on one of my miniature rose plants… only just looked at it the other day and didn’t see any sign of pests and now a ton this morning out of nowhere! I was ready to let this one go anyway as it’s looking pretty rough now but still a sad sight to see

I have tried to google but I can’t seem to find anything on the subject. I have about 12 plants, 4 in my office and the rest in my kitchen. My office does not smell but my kitchen and living room stink of smoke, like cigarette smoke. I’m not a smoker. I did read that sometimes plants can smell like smoke, that you can smell it from far away but the smell goes away as you get closer to the plants. Thats exactly what’s happening. Can anyone help me figure out how to stop it? All plants have been repotted recently and all have new soil. *picture of my favorite plant child. Shhh don’t tell the others

Yesterday I noticed one of my flaming Katy had some soggy leaves that were falling off and I looked closer and realized it had some dark spots on the stem. I took off all the soggy mushy stuff and the flowers that were over, I just left one stem of flowers that still look ok. I’m really worried about it and I thought it was root rot. I ordered new soil that’s being delivered Monday, so I can repot it and cut off the rotted roots, also this is the original soil and pot. I got the plant about a month ago from the grocery store. I looked at it again today and I don’t know if it’s root rot now. The black spot is hard, the whole Main stem and everything is hard and the dark spots where the leaves I took off yesterday are hard and crispy, also the soil is really dry. I have four other flaming Katy’s I’ve had for awhile and they are all doing really well, I haven’t treated this one any different then those ones, so I don’t know what I did wrong to this one or if something happened to it before I bought it. Does anyone have any idea what’s wrong with it?

Anyone know what’s happening with my zebra plant? The inside arms are burnt and a few of them have a red tint to them.

Does anyone have any tips on getting rid of mealy bugs? Things are looking pretty dire for this hibiscus.

Had purchased petunia (Peace lily) around a month ago was doing amazing until 2 days ago where I noticed the petal turning brown and had only got worst from there. I did water the plant using a food for peace lilys and I’ve been spraying the leaves as to not lose humidity (not huge amounts of sprays, like a 10ml bottle used). Could someone please help me figure out what’s wrong. I really do t want to have damaged her.

Hello guys, I got this at a flea market, anyone know what she might be, and the best soil for it? I also noticed today her leaf end turning brown why is that? my guess is that I had noticed mold grow on her dirt so I want to repot too.

i just adopted this unknown vining plant from a deceased family member, and i’m finding this sticky white fuzzy looking stuff on some of the leaves. any thoughts? if it helps, it came in an arrangement with aloes.

My brother‘s dragon plant is dying and I am trying to get to the root of the problem😮‍💨😭😂 can somebody please give me tips they are beautiful plants the roots smell and look healthy but the plant is struggling and the leaves look like a light brown coffee. The ones that fall off. At least I’ve added a picture of them as well. any advice would be much appreciated.

I found some strange bugs crawling around my African violets soil. It was so small I could hardly tell what it was or get a picture of it (they were smaller than a flea). They looked kind of brown / white but I can’t for the life of me, figure out what they were. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be?

I have some hoya obsura plants that are all showing yellow spotted leaves that eventually fall off. I thought they were being overwatered. So, I increased the time between watering to let the soil mix dry out. The yellowing still persists. It has been over 2 months. I checked the soil today. It still looks fine with no root rot or insects. I’m assuming the chunky mix needs to completely dry out for these plants to be happy. I’m open to suggestions.
