I woke up this morning to find my tomatoes decimated by these things! I have not had this problem before. What are these and how can I prevent them in the future. These things are huge! I doubt they were born yesterday so I don’t know how they found my plants which are in raised beds on my patio

Hey all, I recently discovered that I have a bit of a fungus gnats problem after I let my money tree outside for some sun. They are enjoying the moist soil of the Angel Wings. I just sprayed the soil with a dilution of mild soap and water. Anything else that can help? Everyone is healthy I caught it quick enough but I’m trying to stop it in its tracks!

I recently discovered my monstera in the “auto drain pot” (I’ve learned the error of my ways) had a bad case of what looks like gnats of some kind and they were killing it so I propagated and and re-rooting it. The gnats have moved to other plants and I plan to fully repot everything with new soil and rinse all roots and pots. Will this fully get rid of the gnats?

Hi! I’m very new to plants and have been having a bit of a battle with my Peace Lily. First the flowers immediately died after a week in its new home. I put her in better lighting and follow a normal watering schedule. Small growth started but I noticed yesterday that the tips of every leaf is yellow and browning. How can I fix this? I watered yesterday (although my Planta schedule said watering is t due for a few days the soil was extremely dry).

Hey y’all 🖤 happy Thursday. I’m having an issue I’ve never had before with my Hollyhock. Tried using Planta app to diagnose, AI couldn’t find the problem. Shock. Only having this issue with one leaf, it’s the tallest one currently. Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions? Thank you in advance 🖤

Hi there! Any tips on dealing with scales/mealybugs? I had an infested plant that I managed for a long time by picking them off, misting, and occasionally rubbing leaves/stems with ACV - it was enough that the plant continued new growth and flowering, but they just kept coming back and the plant eventually died (may be from unrelated reasons). I just found a couple scales on a newer spider plant I have, and I don’t want it to happen again! What do you usually do?

Anyone know what these tiny black dots on my calathea leaf are? They don’t wipe off and aren’t raised. They look like little pen marks, it’s just on one leaf

These pothos are recently repotted and At first I thought they were yellowing from being overwatered but I’m not so sure anymore. Too much sun? The yellowing was first and now that browning on edge is showing up. Shock from replanting?

are gnats harmful to plants at all? I’ve looked into how to get rid of them, but I want to make sure that there isn’t anything else I should be doing like separating my plants.

Why is my Zebra plant drooping? It’s not overwatered or under watered, I checked. It has recently been repotted. But it has been like this ever since I got it.
