How should I repot? My poor snake plant was suffering in this huge pot and half of it has root rot. My mistake for putting in a pot that was too large. Now wondering if I can save the other pieces by putting in a smaller pot with cactus soil. Please help!!
got my first pink dragon 4 days ago, but this one leaf isnt fully opened is changing color. I did repot it that same day i got it , so im guessing stress? should i chop it off or ??? the other leaves look good to me.

I came home after being gone for three days (longer than i meant to be gone) and when I walked in my Calathea was like this. Last I saw her she was perky and full i have 0 Clue what couldâve happened.

HELP! Gnats are flying in my home. Lately, itâs been so humid outside and inside. I live right by the lake. I donât over water my plants but they stay damp longer. Some of my plants had mold on their soil but already treated and gone. Then, I noticed gnats flying in my home and around my plants. My plants are okay so far. What should I do to get rid of them? They donât seem to fall in my vinegar trap. Any other suggestions?
HELP MY AIR PLANT IS DYING
i got a money tree about 6 months ago and it was very happy until about 2 weeks ago when it started dropping some leaves and turning yellow. the soil was super dry so i watered it, and i moved it upstairs because i was worried it was being impacted by the cold draft from our back door openingâŠbut it doesnât seem to be turning around. the plant is in the nursery pot inside a larger pot and both have drainage. any ideas or suggestions?
Itâs winter on my side not enough sun and my plants are turning yellow help should I keep them away from window and add plant lights to Them !!!
At what point should I give up on these yellowing leaves? I just repotted her and I donât want her to use resources for dying leaves if theyâre not going to make it.
Just pruned all these dead leaves off my plant. I canât tell if itâs over or under watering as thereâs always brown wilting leaves every time i water ( once a week ish ). Some also break in half like the second photo. She was right against the window and since moving her farther away she seems to do better, but this still happens every week. Luckily it seems to grow quickly so the foliage is replaced but i canât ID the problem đ§
Iâm a true amateur when it comes to fig trees, and have been struggling with this girl for a while. She started dropping leaves not long after I got her in July, and have repotted her as recently as early November. Originally had her in the living room where she didnt get much direct light, and now she resides as seen in the pictures. She hasnât been dropping leaves as bad but they still curl and brown, and regrowth hasnât been as strong as I had hoped. Any help and suggestions are much appreciated!
Hi plant friends! Can someone help identify what is going on with this satin pothos? Itâs in a hanging planter and Iâm noticing strange yellow/orangish new growth as well as dark crispy leaves. I cant think of anything different Iâve done with her so any advice is much appreciated! TIA đ And upon further investigation, all the discoloration/dryness is coming from a singular vine (but the vine has healthy new growth at the end). See pictures. Iâm thoroughly confused.
Hi Planta peeps! Does anyone have any tips on effectively watering this white bird of paradise? The water runs straight out of the soil and doesnât retain, and sheâs been drooping for quite some time and slowly dying. Sheâs too big now for me to carry to the shower or put in a tray to bottom water. :(
NEED HELP! Iâm not sure if I should be worried. My elephant ear leaves have these white spots and Iâm not sure why.
any ideas on how to fix this? have had this palm since august 2023 with no issues and now the edges are browning/yellowing. watering once a week or so. the front of the plant, not shown, facing towards the interior of the room is not browning.
What is this? Could it be from thrips or something?

Hey yâall, my Dragon Scale Alocasia is going through it. This is the 2nd time this has happened and at first the app said it couldnât be me over watering it, so I did was it recommended - repotted it with new dry soil, I did remove the leaves that were really bad and it seemed to work but now itâs starting again and I thought Iâve been doing a good job by making sure I wasnât watering it too much. The yellow circle is a new symptoms and Iâve not seen before. Iâm just hoping that maybe talk have seen this, is there something else Iâm doing wrong or am I really just overwatering it đ„Č
