Any advice on why the leaves are turning yellow and curling at the edges? Roots look healthy and there’s new growth coming in. Thank you!

Hi there!! My Monstera Thai Constellation’s roots look funky. It doesn’t seem like rot since the plant is holding onto its leaves. But it almost looks like the roots are fuzzy. The newest leaf has these markings on it too. Any advice? Thank you!

Seen these tonight under my Bird of Paradise leaves. Are these bugs ? How would i treat this?

I recently found out I have Fungus Gnats on my succulents. People have recommended misquote bits, but I’m not sure how to use them. Also are there any other ways to get rid of the gnats? Any advice is appreciated!!

I have a pepper plant outside in full sun for at least 5-6 hours in a pot. The plant is getting flowers, but the leaves are turning yellow. I really want to save this plant. Can someone help me? What could be the reason? There are no bugs, and I water only when the topsoil is dry.

I’m trying to save a coworker’s plant — she had it in a windowless office and just moved it to an area with part-sun. I trimmed a bunch of dead leaves and it has started sending out new shoots. But the big leaves are still browning and curling. Anyone know why? I’m not familiar with polka dot plants, which I believe this is.

Would love advice for my monstera. Thrips tried to take over but I think I caught it early. I believe most of them are gone now but noticed the crust on the bottom of this stem. Is this caused by pests or is this scale? Thank you!

It’s been getting droopier and droopier. I’ve only watered it once since I brought it home. But it doesn’t feel dry either. Anyone know what I should do?

Hi all. I recently started using Bonide Systemic to take care of some pest issues. I recently became nervous after reading more into some of its carcinogenic effects. Should I be concerned? Most of my 10-15 plants have been sprinkled with the granules and watered. I did this about 4-6 weeks ago. Can the toxins still be inhaled? Just nervous health wise thank you!

Hello plant friends! I repotted this lemon lime maranta from its nursing pot to this ceramic pot with drainage about 2 months ago. It kind of freaked out so I gave it time. I lost one leaf and it went droopy, but there’s all kind of new growth, even blooming. You’ll notice there’s some browning on the leaves, I thought maybe it was crisping from the sun, so I moved it to partial sun, and haven’t seen more browning. But I’ve read that it loves full sun, so I’m not sure. It likes to be damp, so I water once a week to 10 days, but maybe I’m over watering….any advice??

Hi everyone! My poor strawberry begonia is feeling pretty sad. I was ready to throw her in the garbage…took her out of the pot and found a slug…is that what might have been killing her? I have no idea where he came from. All my plants stay indoors. She was so healthy when I got her months ago and she’s been dying a slow death. ☠️ Is there any hope for her or do I cut my losses. For as many new leaves she produces just as many or more die off.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on this fella. He’s giving me a run for my money and seems to be quite the dramatic fellow. One minute he looks dead the next he is thriving like crazy! I’ve noticed we’re in the dead stage again 🤣 with some yellow leaves/brown tips and drooping. I’m thinking it’s overwater or light issue but I’m curious if you guys think of something else.

WHOA 😩 I just took this Easter Cactus down from the shelf to water and it exploded leaves everywhere. I haven’t changed any routines, but could this be from the heat wave?? We don’t have AC in this room so it was nearly 90 last week. Gonna try to prop them but dang. Advice welcome!!!

Trying my hand at keeping houseplants alive after some luck with a random plant my daughter got and I managed to keep it alive. I got a gorgeous Elephant Ear and transplanted to a larger pot immediately after. I’ve been keeping it (inside) by my back sliding door as that is the area that receives the most sun. Played with watering a little more vs. a little less after the first couple of yellowing leaves. The pot has ample drainage, so I know it’s not retaining all the water it receives. I’ve gotten quite a few new tiny leaves since transplanting, and it looks like I have another large stem that will be unfurling soon, but the overall health of this plant is going downhill. I attributed the first couple of yellowing leaves to transplant shock and trimmed them away. I recently went out of town for the weekend (watered Friday before leaving… back by Monday) and came back to several yellowing leaves. I’m a complete beginner at this and I would appreciate any help I can get! FYI the plant was just moved to the back patio at the time of posting in an attempt to give it some more light… but it’s current location has no correlation to the plants current condition.

Does anyone know why these little brown strands are coming out of the stem of my succulent and what I could do to help it?

Please help with my cherry tomato plant. The leaves are dry, and it kept getting worse. I thought is root rot so I let the soil dried out and it became worse so now I’m watering the plant every day in the morning, but it doesn’t get significantly better is being getting worse since I got this plant. Any recommendations are appreciated.
