can anyone help me troubleshoot what’s wrong with my CA buckeye? it’s getting full afternoon sun and morning shade, i’m watering regularly and it was recently repotted this year. i got ladybugs recently to control some pests (i had small green caterpillars chewing this thing to shreds and neem oil didn’t help), but i don’t see any more bugs on it now. it’s getting weird yellow edges and leaves are dying off! it thankfully keeps sprouting new growth and the new leaves look very healthy. i’m assuming it might be sunburnt, but i live in the south PNW where it’s humid and we don’t get above 80 degrees in the summer. any input is welcome and appreciated!!!

False shamrock gone downhill in the last day. I watered it yesterday as it was dry and now it’s just gone limp. Not sure if it wasn’t enough light or the watering. Moved it to a bright window for now. Anything I can do to help it out? I’m wondering if the pot is too big and needs downsizing Thank you in advance

I’m having some trouble with my alocasia brancifolia - one leaf is doing great and the other is just getting droopier. Anyone has any ideas? No webs, no visible pests to be seen.

Why do my three newest monstera leaves have these bruises/small tears? I repotted about 3 weeks ago. The oldest of these three new leaves u fueled before the repot. We also moved to a new house 2 weeks ago. Also in the last pic there’s some bruising looking mark on one of the stems. Please lmk what y’all think. Thanks!!!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any advice with this plant here. It’s been struggling and seemed to be dying for a few years but earlier this year a new growth unexpectedly happened. But I don’t know what to do. Any advice is really appreciated! Thank you!

I recently purchased a watermelon pepperonis & it’s in a sawdust type soil. The little bugger just does not like it & is a limp noodle. I’m desperate to transplant the 2” but not sure if I should put in4” pot & best soil to help it stabilize. It was shipped to SE AK where I am & all other ones have stabilized nicely. HELP!

This is my lavender plant I’ve got from B&Q and it was doing absolutely fine for the first few days however it’s started to die out on me. It has drainage clay underneath the soil and I do make sure to water it so it doesn’t dry out except the days where the UK had been experiencing extreme rain so I didn’t want to overwater it.

does this look like spider mites? I went ahead and repotted and sprayed down with neem oil + added systemic granules to the new soil, but I didn’t see any actual bugs or anything moving. Is there anything else I should do?

Hi everyone, I posted here a few days ago and since then have sadly determined I am dealing with thrips. 😭 I have begun taking measures to combat this, but I’m curious to know how likely you all think it is for the thrips to have spread to my other plants, given my setup (I am aware that this can unfortunately even happen from my contact with the plants - but just based on distance)? The plant WAS located in the pot on the right with the vine wrapping about 2/3rds of the way to the centre kokedama. And do thrips target air plants? 🙁

I am a new plant mom and need advice on how to take care of my anthurium plant. I water when the soil is dry and it is next to but not in a window. But it is still having brown spots, and I can’t tell what is natural and what I need to do to help it.

Hi everyone, had a pretty bad fungus gnat problem recently I have done 2 mosquito bits treatments and read somewhere that if you put about a half inch layer of sand over the medium that can help to prevent adult gnats from being able to lay new eggs in the soil and newly hatched eggs to be able to escape. The sand combined with the mosquito bits seems to have worked extremely well but while using my moisture meter the couple plants I have put sand on top have much higher soil moisture level. Is the sand preventing the soil from being able to aerate and dry out naturally? Trying to avoid root rot here. Thanks so much in advance

Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on with my ficus triangularis? It’s been dropping leaves like crazy and I’ve noticed some of them have spots on them. Is it a pest or disease? Or water issue? Or something else?

Hey plant peeps! I have a new-to-me aloe that i just repotted into a larger pot, from 4” to 6 inches. Three weeks into their new pot and I’ve noticed the bottom leaves turning dark. Is it in shock? Have i under or overwatered? Sunburn?? I don’t want to lose this cutie pie!!🙀🙀🙀
