Hello! I have a calathea Stella that I have placed in a window that gets indirect sunlight all day and then maybe an hour of direct sunlight. It had a lot of new leaves but they are starting to dry out and I canât tell if I just need to water it more frequently or if itâs not humid enough (or something else entirely). Some of the leaves were yellowing which I though meant I was overwatering, so Iâm just a little confused whatâs going on. Iâm also only watering with filtered water because I know these plants can be a bit finicky! Thanks!

My plant is dying and I don't know how. It has no pests and I've been watering it once every week. My mom cut off a piece hoping it'll grow back. I've had this plabt for years, what should I do?
Found a little mushroom this morning in my philodendron. Should I be concerned?
most of my indoor plants develop this green-ish white mold after a week or so after watering. I have decreased my watering to try and solve the problem but they still get mold on the surface of their dirt. I live in Colorado and my indoor plants are in a variety of ceramic and terracotta pot.
Perplexed here. My ZZ plant has two top yellowing leaves on one of the stalks. It canât be due to overwatering because I water once a month and itâs in terracotta with a fairly chunky mix. Itâs in an east facing window room but about 6 feet away from the window. However, I did just repot it, into a bigger pot since the rhizomes were squished in there. The old and new soil was dry when it was transplanted and I didnât water it till now, about ten days later (which is a total of about 24 days without water). Could this be repot stress? Or an old stalk?
The first picture is a Swiss cheese I bought from Home Depot today and it does have webbing at the bottom of the plant but I did some looking and found a spider so Iâm assuming all of it is from him and not spider mites? Iâve never had them before so wanting to make sure. The second picture is a ZZ plant I saved from Walmart clearance. There is white roots sticking out of the bottom but I do think itâs in beginning stages of root rot because Iâm pretty sure I see some mushy dark roots hanging out as well. Iâll have to investigate better tomorrow. If it does and I treat it/cut off bad roots, any tips on keeping her healthy since sheâll be messed with while not acclimated? Also, should I just take off the damaged leaves?
Hi plant people! Can anyone tell me whatâs going on with my pothos? Itâs about two years old now and the new growth seems to be doing fine but thereâs occasionally yellowing leaves near the top existing older ones and brown spots. I should add Iâve recently put it on a more regular watering schedule and put it outside for the warmer months. Itâs on a west facing porch that has a roof and receives plenty of direct sunlight. My only thought is maybe heat or sunburn? It has consistently been in the upper 80âs and 90âs where I live.
Pony tail palm has mealybugs. Iâm so so so sad. Luckily she was isolated from my other plants but Iâll have to check them all now đ„ș
Any idea whatâs causing these red spots on the leaves of my fiddle leaf fig?
Any idea of what this might be? And how to treat for it?
Hello! This leggy begonia is the child of a massive plant I originally got in a 15-in planter. It seems to be suffering from the same issue I had with the mother plant. It grows vertically but all of the leaves beneath the top third of the stalk shrivel up in this gray color and die. Itâs in well draining soil with east facing light and I water it regularly. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Help! Why is my snake plant doing this?
Iâve had my maranta for a while and have always kept it in the same place, I havenât changed anything about its routine and it was flowering and experiencing lots of new growth not too long ago but now itâs looking a little rough. Not sure why! Any ideas?
Back to this girl again! Sheâs not doing any better. I went on vacation for a week and no one looked after her. Two of her 3 leafs fell off while I was gone and then shortly after the third. Any tips of advice would be appreciated on how to revive her!!
Plant has thrips. Rinse her with warm water and wiped her leaves down. Isolated her and used some insect oil and soap.
My neon Pothos continues to struggle with mealy bugs. Iâve repotted it and treated it but they continue to return. Any advice?
New plant mom and I made a huge mistake in repotting my Calathea . I believe she is in shock and possibly root rot.. Can I save her?âŠ

Does anyone know what could be causing this to my jade plant. The weather here has been stormy the past week. Is it a lack of light? Pests? I haven't seen any bugs on the plant. The leaf is also turning a lighter green color.
My friend has this maranta plant (prayer plant) that she repotted because she noticed some leaf decay and yellowing. It hasnât been in harsh sunlight and she waters it from the top. She is wondering what the issue is if anyone can help!
