I have a Pilea and it was watered a few days ago. I pulled the plant out of its pot just to take a look at the roots and I noticed they were on the browner and softer side and I just want to know if that’s due to being watered. I don’t water very often and I let it dry out almost completely before watering again and nothing seems to be wrong with the plant. It’s thriving! Does this seem normal?

My poor ficus elastica is dropping leaves like crazy. I assessed for water-log/root rot and both checked out. She’s pushing out a new leaf but I’ve never lost 3 substantial leaves like this due to new growth. Any thoughts?

Can anyone identify these pests on my calla lily? For context, she’s in a large terracotta pot on a west facing balcony in Southern California.

Does this white powder on the leaves look like powdery mildew to you all or just normal markings on my neon pothos?

My ant plant is growing aggressively away from the sun - i’ve never seen this before! His leaves are also yellowing (middle of plant in photo). He’s on a windowsill, west-facing, in North Carolina summer temps, any ideas on what’s happening?

I planted 2 begonias last Monday. This program cannot even pick up that it is a begonia. So they may be dead. Is there anything I can do to save them?

I have a white bird of paradise which I recently bought. I think it has been overwatered. I’m planning on repotting with potting mix/orchid bark/perlite. Should I water it immediately after repotting or should I wait?

We all know PPPs don’t know how to plant properly. She lives under a grow light and gets around 50% humidity. I had her in a slightly more humid area before, but she was dropping lower leaves because the light was wonky. The tips of two new leaves have been absolutely stagnant for around two weeks. I try to treat her like my other philos and water when she’s around 75% dry. Halp?

What’s going on with my golden sedum? It has these reddish splotches near the bases of the stems that usually face the window it sits in (recently, though, I’ve been trying to remember to rotate it so each side gets even sunlight). It also has this dry-looking spot on a leaf on the other side. Today, I noticed one of the leaves had fallen off. There’s no way I’m overwatering it; I always let the soil dry out so I water it about every 2 weeks. Am I underwatering it? It’s in a southeast-facing window that stops getting direct sunlight in the early afternoon, so is a lack of sunlight the problem? Please help, I have a bad track record with succulents and I don’t want this one to be my next victim!

Hi, doe anyone know some tricks to keeping my Dracaena looking good and healthy. The first pic is when I brought her home. I did have a problem of not enough drainage. I corrected that. She seemed to bounce back. But now she is getting brown spots. Do I need to use filtered water? How dry do you let the soil get between watering. Any help will be great!!! This is my second. Lost one I recused in winter.( kept it alive for a yr. But not that lush) I am in love with these plants.

Does anyone have any tips for desert locusts? My poor pepper plants! 😭

Help! I recently got a rescue cat palm and some of the leaves have turned yellow with the rest having severe browned tips. New growth is also turning yellow and she’s barely getting any new leaves at all. My guess is overwatering but i have her outside so i dont know how that would make much sense!
