Hey! It’s my first time owning a Golden Photos and I would like to know if I’m doing this right. I see some yellow leaves which concerns me a little. I’ve just got it a week ago, it gets indirect sunlight and I only watered once, yesterday, when I felt the soil a bit dry. The pot it came in does not have drainage holes so I was thinking of maybe making some holes on the bottom, scared of affecting the roots if I do go ahead and do it. Re planting is an option too but I have been too busy at work lately to do so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

one of my older thai con leafs is getting a black spot on its leaf and I’m not sure why, I don’t over water or underwater her and she gets a good amount of light… anyone know why?

Hi! I repotted this beauty about 3 weeks ago and leaves began to yellow, turn black and die. It’s been nothing but healthy until the repot. It needed to be repotted because it wasn’t soaking up any water/fertilizer and the roots were coming out of the planter. HELP!

Hello! My Monstera is turning yellow and I believe I know the problem! I watered it before checking the soil and a few days later 3 leaves turned yellow. I’m guessing it is due to overwatering because my plant is also letting off water droplets. It’s been a few days and I do not notice any other leaves yellowing. How can I solve this problem? I’m thinking to prune the yellow leaves since the rest haven’t turned and let the plant dry out before watering again? Can you guys give me some tips to proceed going forward?

rescued this alocasia jacklyn at my local walmart for 1.50$. I repotted her so soon as i got home, i know i added more stress on top of all the stress shes already going through. My question is, should i cut the twisted leaf or should i wait till the new leaf finishes coming out?

howdy yall my elephant ear plant has been doing rough. back story: It used to be outside in the summer, then i brought it inside, put it in a huge pot (probably shouldn’t have done that). then i over watered it :( then last week i moved it to the smaller nursery pot since it was growing slower. im gonna leave my plant alone now for now 😭Does anyone know why my elephant ear plant is growing so slow /or have the same problem??

I have a Bromeliad named ThicKiesha that has gotten a bit too big. I didn’t know when she was younger that I was supposed to cut the pups off and plant them elsewhere. Now they have grown huge and are taking nutrients from the mother plant. Is it okay to cut off the two new plants even though they are attached to the main plant? Will everyone survive?
