Hi I’ve been collecting a plethora of Pothos over the last couple of years but I have one I’m really struggling with - it’s a satin Pothos - bought from a supermarket not a plant specialist and it just won’t grow. It has slowly lost all of its vines but 1 - which has 3 leaves - it’s not dead but its also not doing much of anything. Any new growth it had last year had black spots. I have repotted, it’s not root bound, it gets regular watering and fertilising and as I say it’s not dead because it hasn’t gone black like the other vines did. I’m completely stumped - I’ve managed to propagate from it when one of the vines was dying by putting a healthy portion in water and that one is growing fine but I don’t have it anymore. The original one is another story completely. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated! (Also posted in Pothos group)

I’m very new to gardening, and got a basil plant for my window. In just a few days it has completely wilted! I have a new pot to move it to so it will have some more space, but what is wrong with it? Am I watering too much? Or is it not getting enough sun? Help!

Hey y’all! So ive had this elephant ears for a while now but all of a sudden some of the leaves are turning brown and yellowish. Even on a new leaf that hasn’t even blossomed yet! Idk what’s happening. It doesn’t look like it has any bugs, it’s in my window, and I water it around every four days if needed. Please tell me any suggestions on how to save it!!

Does anyone know what this white stuff is in my potting soil? I know this plant needs to be repotted so maybe it doesn’t have enough airflow and this is fungus? Please let me know if you have any ideas! They are white and irregular shaped, and only towards the bottom half of the soil. I don’t think it’s perlite. Tysmm

There is a brown spot on my orchid. Also some of the flowers have a tiny hole in them. Am I doing something wrong? Should I do anything to fix it? I pruned the plant that is in the same pot because it also had brown ends. It doesn’t really get sun, is that the problem? The rest of it looks pretty healthy though.

This gal is still growing like a weed but some leaves lost their dark pigment. Should I be concerned? It gets about 6 hours of direct sunlight (through gaps other plants leaves).

My Chinese Evergreen ‘Silver Bay’ has had yellow, droopy leaves for a while now and I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it! I tried watering less, I tried more, and I’ve put it in the sunniest place possible and nothing is seeming to work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help?

What is the best way to get rid of thrips? I feel like whenever I notice them it’s always too late. I have been rubbing 1 part rubbing alcohol 7 parts water on the leaves and stems with q tips. I also use neem oil periodically. TIA!

Hey all. I just saw a small gnat like bug flying around my snake plant in my office and I’m wondering how to keep my two plants safe from them? Any suggestions? I really don’t want to hurt the plants but I cannot have bugs happening in here since it’s my workplace. Help!!

I regularly water my spider plants and they just started drooping and losing color. Any idea why this is happening!

I’ve just been given a poorly stingray plant that has been struggling to push out any new leaves. I want to get him back to a happy and healthy state. I’ve tried moving him all about the place to try get him the right amount on sunlight but he just keeps turning more and more yellow. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

UPDATE: Thank you guys so much for the tips!! She’s got a new stem and leaf coming in thanks to some new placement and misting for humidity!! ORIGINAL POST: Cathelea tips? I’ve had the one on the left for over a year now and she’s still so tiny. Leaves crisp up and fall off pretty frequently and I’m not sure why. She’s not in direct sunlight, but i have a large mirror right next to it, could that be a cause? I’d like for her to get nice and big and healthy but I’m stumped on her growth right now. Seeing her new sibling next to her all lush and healthy at that size gives me hope. Thank you!!

Anyone have any fittonia tips? I’ve had this plant twice now and it’s always given me a hard time. It may be the climate I live in (4 seasons and cold winters) and a lack of humidity but I’m not sure. It gets 8 hrs with my grow light and the leaves shrivel off slowly. Thank you!

I need some guidance with my dwarf fiddle leaf fig. The leaves started to droop and I figured it was time to water. Usually she perks right back up but this time she didn’t. Two large leaves fell off. She’s been drooping for 4 days now after watering and it seems like the soil is holding a lot of the water. Any advice?
