My inch plant is starting to get these brown patches on its leaves. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the growth so far but it’s spreading to other leaves. I asked chat gpt and it said to cut all the leaves that had it so I did but it just came back. Do I need to worry, and if yes what should I do?

Is this scale? Planta says it might also be edema. It’s not easy to scrape off and takes the skin off the leaves when I try. Very healthy plant overall. Thanks!

Any recommendations to make this plant grow and thrive? These were propagated from its parent plant (which died last summer). But these have since been like this for a very long time.

My orchid -Lavender has developed some brown and yellow spots on the leaves. But it has new leaf growing and flowering as well. Any tips to it healthy and happy again!? I water it with filtered water when it dries out completely. But I did leave it outside in the sun for a day & maybe it was too hot for the leaves ??

Help! I have flea beetles and am treating plants tonight with diatomaceous (food grade). Should I use anything else with this? My poor banana peppers and I just got rid of spider mites.

How can I help my plant? The dead vines were under the good ones. There’s no roots anymore. They are just sitting on top of the soil. Also there are these yellow fungus that were eating the beads and took over. What should I do?

I have a tote of soil, perlite, and orchid bark that I have had to repot my plants. I’ve had it for a couple months. I noticed gnats in the tote!! Do I toss it? Treat it with Neem Oil? What do I do?

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a good day. I don't have a picture here, but I got an ivy plant and it was doing ok for the first couple weeks, and then it just died. I was in a pot that was perfect for its size, but I just don't know what to do( it was my first ivy) but I want to try to figure out what happend. Maybe just wasn't a good one?

My iridescent betsy begonia is looking king of rough- is there any suggestions? I gave it a tiny amount of water. Four teaspoons total. I just changed the soil recently? Could this be from the new soil and she was placed in? This is a high draining mix, before she was in regular potting soil. Any advice would be great to rehab her!!

I want to share the story of this little aluminum plant to give other beginners hope. This guy came as close to dying as any plant can. It was in bad shape when it came home and the dirt it’s was in stayed wet for a long time. I repotted it into better soil, but the damage was done. It lost almost all of its leaves. I gave root hormones in the water and fertilized as directed. Even the little dead leafless stem is now pushing up new growth! WHERE THERE IS LIFE THERE IS HOPE!

I brought this lil jumping spider in my home on Thursday after work when I found him crawling on my work van, then put him in the aglaonema I bought. Every day since I have been finding dead gnats that he’s been hunting over night on this regal shield leaf that hangs out over here. If you think they’re cute like I do, just abduct them from outside and make them your new pets that pay rent with hunting!
