I have mealybugs in my snake plants soil š©. What should I do?! They leave creamy white spots on the leaves and I canāt cut the leaves because I have only 3 leaves. I clean it with a Q-tip and water. Any thing else I can do besides neem oil and insecticides? I donāt have any available.
Help! I don't know what's going on with my Hoya. I don't see any type of bug or spider mite but she's not looking good. Any help is appreciated. Ty in advance! P.S. She's still in the nursery pot she came in months ago if that matters.
I just finished treating this plant and others for spider mites. I took a closer look at my elephant ear and thereās these shiny brown specs all over the underside of its only remaining leaf. Planta diagnosed it as thrips, but Iām not seeing the bugs. Would any of you agree with this diagnosis or suggest otherwise? I am ready to give up and stick her outside and say f* it.
I recently bought a birds of paradise plant which seems to be healthy and growing, but Iām a bit concerned itās got an infestation. Iāve noticed that every day or the other, Iāll have one or two of these little millipedes underneath the plant either dead or dying. Iām quite new to owning plants so Iāve got no idea if theyāll be hurting or helping the plant? Itās an indoor plant so Iām thinking Iāll need to repot it either way
Help! I bought this plant with a couple leaves that had brown edges. Brought it home. New soil and watered. She appears to be growing and thriving nicely. Except her new leaves turn brown on the edges quickly as well. Any ideas on what could be causing this??
Can anyone tell me why my peace lilly has these yellow ish patterns? Google was no help and i do intend on repotting her into a better soil mix so it might just be that any advice would be appreciated!!

HELP?!? Had this Alocasia Polly for a few years. Was doing well up until a year or so ago. I think originally too close to a heater. Moved it away from heat/ac. Recently dropped second to last leaf, so down to one and it doesnāt look great. Repotted to a smaller porous pot with new mix geared for this type of plant. It was definitely in too big a pot and soil was wet for too long. Luckily the corm seems to still be in good shape - I transplanted before it rotted. Any advice appreciated!
hello! Any ideas on how I could give this girl some love? The growth has been stunted for a bit and thereās quite a bit of leaf browning and crisping starting at the edges.
My grandma has this plant that seems to be looking a little sad. I donāt know the kind of plant that it is though, so I donāt know what the proper care is for it. She did say that it was just in regular dirt, so it could be due to that as well. If anyone knows how to help please share!

My monstera has thrips!! Iāve been inspecting and inspecting and even spraying insecticidal soap to prevent (after I found thrips on another plant nearby) and I still somehow missed it! Iām working on isolating it but I feel like itās too big to rinse off in the shower. Any tips to thoroughly clean the whole plant without also watering the soil? Someone talk me off a ledge!
My outdoor Lantana has developed a leaf condition where the leaves turn light and then brown and fall off. I donāt see any evidence of bugs on the leaves. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be?
Bought a few crimson sweet watermelons a few weeks ago and they were doing well. Recently, I tried to thin and repot them and keep the root as undamaged as possible, but looks like theyāre still sad. I donāt have very high hopes, but is there a chance I can save them?

Calathea 911 Hello friends, I was reached out today by my best friendās sister asking me about Calatheas and to be very honest with you, I know very little about them. To me, they are pain to keep them alive and maintain and I have killed so many, forget about it they are not part of my collection lol. I have books from Darryl Cheng (āThe New Plant Collectorā is one if them) and I found some info that I have already shared with her however, I wanted to also reach out to you guys since is easier and some of you kind of know the tricks to keep them alive š¤. I am going to post a couple pictures she sent me this evening and try to help her figure it out whatās happening with them? In one of the pictures I noticed that the soil is very dry and I know Calatheas donāt like that but any help will be great so I can pass the message along thank you friends. I also thinks theres two different varieties, so!
What do you do to discourage mosquitoes from breeding in the plant trays under your pots? I have been trying Mosquito Bits but Iāve found them a little messy when we get these torrential rainstorms we get here in North Texas. My ābug guyā tells me to add dish soap to my watering trays underneath the pots. Is there a risk of harming the plants if they soak up water laced with dish soap through the roots?
I have been having trouble with my Calla Lilly. I have re potted her in a better pot with better drainage, but she is still struggling. someone please tell what I should do.
