What is this on my peace lily?
Ok. So you can see where we started. And here we are today. My other calathea is bouncing back. This one I have done a root rot trim on about a week ago, have had it in a glass of water so it gets more oxygen. I did check it this morning and did a more through root rot trim cause it had a smell to it. And this is whatâs left. So hereâs my questions: 1. Lay her out for a bit to dry out some or just put her back in a glass of filtered water. 2. My plants live under grow lights for 12 hours a day, should I keep her under longer? 3. I only found one stem with color to it, the rest are black. Leave them or cut them off?
Whatâs happening to my Columbine flower plant? It had thrips which I took care of and am still treating it for and it flourished again but now it has black marks on several leaves. Is this a fungal infection? What do I do?
HELP! I was gifted this Vriesea carinata last year (first picture). Came with the wrong compost so the flowers quickly died, which i believe it'll only do once. In the spring, I put it in a well-draining soil mix and these two off shoots quickly started growing. Now the part where the flower died back is starting to decay. Is there any saving this plant? Is it possible to try and propergate the baby shoots?
!! posting for a friend !! my friend just moved into a new house and she noticed that most of her plants are growing this weird mold / moss looking layer at the top of the soil. iâve never had this issue so iâm not sure what is causing it, any ideas? the picture is from her orchid. i was thinking it was poor airflow + too high of humidity maybe, but again im not sure.
Hello everyone I was just wondering if I could get some tips on how to make my ruby rubber tree here happier itâs been a while since sheâs put out a new leaf and I noticed today that the leaves look like theyâre rotting and wilting. Judging from the soil I definitely need to get some new soil in there but does anyone have any advice? Thank you!
Hey I wanna know whatâs wrong with my bird of paradise. There is browning on stems and leafs are splitting. I have glow light on for 16 hours a day. I water it every week. Something that I noticed its that even though i water it evenly in my pot. Everytime one part of the pot will remain dry and others will remain moist. I see some yellowing and browning on leaf as well.
What bug is causing the silver spots on my cochleus, it's happening to both of them and the pothos next to it but no silver spots just holes

Thereâs these little brown spots on my philodendronâs leaves. Any idea what it could be from? Also the photos are of the newest completely unfurled leaf and its variegation looks more like a light green instead of white. Any ideas on how I could fix that or if itâs normal? Thanks guys!
Does anyone know my Chinese money plant has started dying? It was doing great for months after I got it and grew little tiny plants next to it and everything. About 2 weeks ago it lost its oldest leaf and now it looses maybe 1 leaf a day. THis is my second Chinese money plant and I really donât want it to die.
I have a Golden Pothos growing in a clear nursery pot. It looks like green moss growing at the bottom. The plant seems fine right now. No roots are molding. How should I handle this issue?
My gollum jade is getting a lot more yellow leaves than it used to. That's my baby. Any ideas? Nothing's changed other than the heat's gone on but I have a humidifier going across the room. Same as last year and she was fine.
I love my jade plant, but I've noticed in the last couple of months (after a strong rain storm) some of the stems/stalks are falling over the edge of the pot. I'm worried that I don't have it set up correctly and want to make sure it's going to continue to grow well. I previously had this pot outside on my front porch and it was really thriving, and now I've moved it back into my front room for the winter (this is its normal spot). While it was outside, a couple of months ago, we had a strong rain storm and after that a couple of the front stems weren't standing up straight anymore but hanging out over the pot edge. I kept an eye on it and continued with Planta's recommendations, and it kept growing just fine. By now I've rotated it around and those stems aren't hanging over the edge, but the stem closest to the light is drooping. Do I just need to get a grow light to get it to continue to grow straight up? Or is this guy just wanting to spread out and I need to change the type of pot I have it in?
Ok so what is the protocol for a self watering pot with a rope like this? I got it on fb marketplace in this little cup and it seems to love soaking the water up but itâs getting this weird white film on the top soil. What does that mean and how often should I fill the water?
Whatâs wrong with my Venus fly trap this is the second one that it currently looks like Iâm killing. Please help.
đ Plant Newbie here! This is my first time owning Golden Moneywort (got them in about September I believe), she isnât looking so happy lately. Side note: this is probably 6-8 individual plants in a large pot for my biggest indoor only tree. Is this normal for her? Do I need to trim her back? đ”âđ«đȘŽ Thanks!
Just got this golden Pothos, but Iâm noticing some tiny brown spots on it, should I be worried?
I got a Lantana a little bit ago, but one leaf turned suspiciously yellow and brown.. none of the others are like it. Does anyone know what it is or what I should do?
