I HAVE THRIPS WHAT DO I DO???? HELP ME PLEASEEEEEE
please tell me this is not some sort of pest. i just got this plant and it already has mealies. is this of concern?
how likely is my monstera to revive from a severe case of fungus gnats :/ any advice will help, i’ve already rinsed the roots out and repotted, unfortunately had a small casualty with an older leaf but i’m more worried about if it will recover. tyia
Some of my cherry tomato leaves are turning yellow, is this anything to worry about? Also I started growing it on Aug. 19 any tips?
Hey yall! I am NEW to the plant world. I have this golden pothos that I bought that was BURSTING at the seams in its original pot. I replanted it with a ratio’d perlite and potting mix - and I’m pretty sure i stressed him out completely. How do i fix this? SOS. please help. Thanks!
Still unable to stop whatever ailment is causing this. The problem is accelerating and these leaves will all die. Does anyone have any idea what’s causing this?
Has anyone tried letting live ladybugs out in their home to help with pest control on indoor plants
Entomology here, if you know… you know. 🤣 Best guesses welcome!
Are these sticks normal color? It has been getting sun.
Does anyone know why my banana croton look this way? I've given it water, changed the soil, and it has been getting sun.
My philodrendon has these white specks on it’s leaves and pot. I tried spraying it with neem oil the last time I watered it and nothing makes it go away. Is it some sort of insects or mold? What can I do to make it go away?
My golden pothos is now getting yellow leaves and brown spots on new and old leaves. I could not see pests on the underside of the leaves with a magnifying glass, so I have no idea what's going on. What's going? I water when dry and fertilize every other watering with miracle grow. Oh, and I add peroxide to water to control bugs.
Saw this on top of my BOP soil. It looks like mold. Can I scrape the top to just remove it completely? Or should I just leave it and dry it out? Will it go away
Hi everyone, I just picked up a small Alocasia Polly yesterday at the supermarket. It was such a great price that I couldn’t leave it! It was sitting next to another Alocasia that had spider mites, so I’ve put mine in quarantine for now. I’m quite new to plant care, but so far it seems healthy. I can see tiny white roots at the bottom of the pot, and it even has a new leaf coming in. I’m a bit unsure about the next steps: • Should I just leave it alone for now, or start cleaning its leaves and treating it for pests preemptively? • Should I cut off the smaller leaves? • Should I wait to repot since it has a new leaf, or is now a good time? Any tips would be amazing!
So I got this peace lily next to a dumpster and had to do a complete chop of everything. It’s obviously doing very well as it has a bloom coming in but some of my leaves are brown and mushy in certain spots. What does this mean? I look on the internet and the only thing that comes up is yellowing leaves but these don’t have any of that. And no the radiator it’s next to is not on yet, it will most likely get moved from there in the winter
why do my hoya look like this? my krinkle looks great and feels healthy from the front of the leaves, but the back of the new leaves look unwell. fungal? sunburned? (third photo is a different hoya with a similar problem)
I recently got this plant already in bad condition. I repotted and changed the soil. When I watered it last night the drainage tray had plenty of water in it however I never noticed until after watering and not sure if it was there before or after watering. The leaves feel crispy to an extent but the soil is damp deep into the pot. I’m not sure if the problem is over or under watering although I know it’s too recent to diagnose. Any suggestions or tips?
hiiii… recently brought home, repotted, watered and fertilized this guy and had to chop off quite a bit due to damage but now the stems are turning yellow… anyone know why?
Hi, my fiddle leafs are growing new leafs. It’s the first time I noticed that all the new leafs have brown small spots. It is weird that all of them have the same appearance, before this, new leafs will grow all the same green tone but without the brown spots. Any idea why this would be?
Someone help me 😭 I got this baby yesterday and repotted it when I got home and one of the plants seems to be in shock maybe? How do I help him? The one in the other photo that looks not good has a bloom, he’s the one not doing well at all. All the other stems are perfect and tall but not him. You can see him leaning with all his other pals. He is watered, and no root rot.
