I am in need of assistance in this battle against pests š š¦ over the last 3-4 weeks i have been battling what i think are thrips (attached a couple videos if someone can confirm?) First week i washed the leaves, sprayed them down with ābio nutrientā all natural pesticide they sell, after the 5 day period after it naturally disappeared i washed the leaves again and sprayed them with DE (diatomaceous earth) and my plants have had that on them since.. I am still finding new baby and more mature thrips on the plants and it has been over 3 weeks.. any suggestions?! š thank you in advance! PS: they are on a different variety of plants (all were in a milsbo ikea cabinet so the infestation is containedā¦. I hope lol)

Hello! This is Joline, and I've had her for almost 7 months now. She's my very first house plant and I'm so very proud of her, however she has some Browning on the ends of her leaves. I'm still very new to this so I just wanted to make sure if it's something possibly serious or not. It's only on a few leaves and usually once it gets bad enough I just prune them as new leaves show up very quickly for her.
My purple mum has roots growing out of the drainage holes. Should I trim the roots?
One of my aerial roots in my monstera almost looks and feels like root rot. Can an aerial root do that? Should I cut it off?
I bought this monsters plant today at Walmart I live in East Tennessee and want to help him out. Heās got some broken leaves and some roots growing out of the stems; but thereās new growth towards the bottom so Iām not sure what to do with the roots. Any tips or advice would be appreciated š¤ Iām not very familiar with this plant.
Help?! What are these? My leaves are turning yellow too and I donāt know what to do šš
Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me with my pothos. I just bought from somebody on market place. i think it was heavily neglected, the leaves are tiny and shriveled. i change the soil and have been regularly watering and gave it fertilizer but it looks about the exact same two weeks later. Is it past a fixing point?
Any idea whatās causing/caused this? The leaf is soft.. I just repotted and it took quite some time to get the old medium offā¦
My palm is slowly turning brown and the leaves are drying up. I water once a week and have an irrigation system using a terracotta filter and a wine bottle. Can anyone tell me what could be killing my palm?
Iām hoping someone can help my Monstera heās not doing well itās drooping and it feels like itās getting weaker. The leaves are turning as well. Iām not sure if itās outgrown it pot and I should split the plant up about a year ago and another bag of organic soil about two months ago.
Leaves on my pilea are starting to curl/round over backwards...What is this a sign of? I have a grow light on it 8-10 hours a day is that too much light? I follow the water & fertilization schedule on planta, the curling started about a week ago.
Not sure whatās happening with my Chinese money plant. Itās in an East facing window because I thought it needed bright indirect light. Should I move it? I also read I should fertilize it if itās yellowing. Any advice would be helpful.
Just noticed these today. This relatively new spider has been doing great, and then two leaves recently died. Looked closer, are these aphids?? Something else? Suggestions? Thanks so much!
Need help- There is something wrong with my money plant, initially the leaves look healthy then it starts fading and it drops. What might be the reasons? I am giving water once a week. Thanks in advance š
So my roommate needs help reviving this Chinese Evergreen plant. Iām still a beginner and not sure what to do. It was living outside and it seemed to be getting scorched so I brought it inside and itās under a grow light. Should I just chop it? Or let it be and see if it does anything. The leaf is looking real rough and not sure it can be saved. Thanks in advanced!
Yet another pilea peperomioides problem š Does anyone know what these brown spots on mine might be? They appeared over the last few days, on both new and old (big and small) leaves on my rather large plant. It has drainage, water when needed, I don't *see* any pests ... is this a fungal thing??? I am worried! Any help would be much appreciated. Fyi I believe the tiny white spots are calcium deposits/water stuff? They have been around for a long while with no issues.
My Calathea warscewiczii has some wrinkling on the edges of the newer leaves. Does anyone know what might be the reason?
hey guys iām a novice plant mom and i have about 11 plants, ive never had a pest problem until now. my pothos has been overcome by white mites and ive used a concoction of water neem oil, castilles soap and the tiniest bit of alcohol sprayed it all over the plant twice now and even put water and neem oil in the soil to kill the eggs and i think they came back twice as bad now. does anyone have any suggestions i really wanna save her ( i would attach a pic of the mites but i just cleaned her again)
Hi everyone! Iāve had my monstera for almost a year with no problems until I recently discovered severe root rot. My local nursery helped me repot it, added rooting hormone but did not use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect (there was maybe half an inch of roots left). 3 weeks later, and itās doing pretty ok aside from still recovering from signs of stress and one or two very small leaves that yellowed and fell. One new leaf seems to be starting to grow as well. That said, as I was aerating the soil a bit this morning, I noticed a little bit of a black stem poking out of the soilāthe rest of the plant looked fine to me. Plucked the one stem out (didnāt see any roots attached) and lightly watered with 3/4 cup of water mixed with less than a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Is this root rot or maybe just one stem that didnāt grow roots back quickly enough after the repot? Should I repot again with new soil so soon or try something else? I really donāt want to destroy this plant if sheās got another case of root rot brewing and will do anything I can to save her!
I was pinning my philodendron up to the wall and snapped the end of the vine off in the processš„² Will this vine continue to grow longer ?? It was growing so long I was excited to get it going over my doorway.
