Need advice! My string of turtles soil seems to be staying moist for quite a long time. I last watered it 18 days ago and the soil still seems quite wet. It looks healthy, but I’ve heard these can “die silently”. It’s in bright indirect light.. not sure what it could need. Also, any tips on easily checking the soil on these guys? The foliage is so dense and compact it’s hard to check and I’m wondering if I’m not actually feeling it enough. Thanks!
Can someone give me advice please. I’m new to Thai constellations, well monsteras in general. On the right is my Thai when i first got her and in the last two weeks she’s been getting these brown spots. I cut it off three times and it keeps coming back. I don’t think it’s a watering issue because i have her in a clear pot and water when she’s 75% dry. I would chop the leaf completely but she is working on pushing out a new leaf. Any advice thank you in advance !

Recently got this monstera, and it’s new growth is starting to go brown, it’s on multiple of the new leaves. I water every time the soil is dry about an inch or two on top. It is in a plastic pot with drainage inside a larger pot currently, and when watering there is no pool of water at the bottom, and never has been so I don’t think it’s due to over watering. What should I do!

Hi!! 🪴🌿🌱 We recently bought a black steel blue hydrangea and planted it in the ground. We've watered it the last couple of days (however it's been about 29-30 degrees the last couple of days in the UK). We've not been wanting to over water it but the hydrangea currently looks like this (circled). The one to the left of it was also planted the same day and is a hydrangea but doesn't look as dramatic as this one. Have we just not given it enough water? Should the hydrangea perk up the next few days if we give it another good water this evening? 🤞🏻

Anyone know what’s happening to our parlor palm Hershel? He’s in bright indirect sunlight, gets misted occasionally and watered when the top inch of soil is dry. I did have him in sunlight for a bit but then moved him as his leaves are losing the green colour and the tips going brown
Are these leaves just gonna die or what am I doing wrong? 🥲 I have it planted in a Aroid soil with some nutrients and it’s in the sun but not too much and it’s watered good and it’s draining. I’m scared she gonna die.

hi all! I got her a couple weeks ago and her leaves have been slowly turning crusty. Shes in full peat moss from the nursery and I don’t want to disturb her roots by changing it out. She’s under a plant light for 12 hours, should I move her? Is it too bright of light? Shes making me sad and I don’t know if I should just chop her and let her regrow
All my plants have fungus gnats :( anyone have any tips or product recommendations for dealing with them? I have a Zevo blue light bug trap near them but it doesn’t seem to be doing much.
What can I do to make my dieffenbachia crocodile plant “fuller” looking and not so leggy? The leaves are curled too and I wasn’t sure if I could help him in any way with that too. He sprouted 3 new leaves since buying it about 6 months ago.
Hi all, I’m an extreme newbie and got a calathea *sigh* because the leaves are pretty and they are non-toxic to cats. It is potted without a nursery pot, but the pot itself has one drainage hole. Not sure the soil type as it’s whatever the nursery had at their DIY plant bar. We put rocks at the bottom first and then soil. I first waited a full week to water it and my plant looked in distress and the soil was bone dry. I used tap water the first time. Then I checked the soil everyday after and watered after 4 days when I noticed the soil was dry but not bone dry (using distilled water this time). I added a humidifier running 4-8 hours at night near the plant and just moved it to a spot with better light (it was darker before). Planta is also telling me it’s overwatered?? Feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure if I need to repot the whole thing when I just potted it recently? Worried it will stress the plant even more and how bad it is right now 😭
I got this soil for my plants a while ago, I noticed my peace lily has millipedes from moisture. Is it because i changed the soil into this? I thought it supposed to help with the moisture. What kinds of soil should i get? Or should i just repot it into this soil again and make sure not to overwater?
