WHAT IS THIS? My ficus, I should say my old friend, has been through four sequential sprays of neem interspursed with copper fungicide for scale. I thought that would be more than adequate, but I found a couple of scale spots just now and several leaves look like they have teeny transparent green holes in the leaf, not open holes though (see photograph).I’ve never noticed this before. Are these teeny holes I’m finding on the leaves indicative of scale returning? I HATE SCALE; it is such a pain in the tutu. Any help is appreciated. 😊💚🪴 PS If the long and the short of it is four more rounds of spray, I am worried about my ficus becoming immune to the spray???

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my Flamingo plant? It’s keeps getting brown and black spots on the leaves, the bright colors are fading, and cuts are in the leaves.

Help! My meyer lemon is naked! Does anyone have any idea why my Meyer lemon is dropping leaves? She has blossoms and is currently growing 3 beautiful lemons. She’s inside under a grow light and is regularly watered and receives fertilizer.

Can anyone tell me what’s going on with my leaf? Context - was water propagating until I had a ton of roots. Had an issue with mites but cleaned and cleared them off for the most part. But recently noticed that the lead is just not upright anymore Ideas? Cures?

Hey plant people, I just received this beautiful baby juniper bonsai as a gift from a very well meaning friend but upon researching found that it won’t do well indoors. I live in a college dorm and don’t have any outdoor place to put it. I’m going home in roughly a month but any advice on how to keep it alive in my dorm that long until I can rehome it would be greatly appreciated.

I have two philodendron verrucosums that were quite healthy but since last autumn or so one of them stopped growing new leaves. It continued to grow taller at quite a steady rate but new leaves will die in cataphylls before it unfurl. Since this spring the other one is starting to do the same, and I lost bout 8 leaves in total like this. One of them ended up growing new branches and finally pushed out a new leaf, but the new growth on the main branch died again. Anyone know what’s going on here and what I can do to help it please? Thanks!

I have this great back patio I love keeping plants on but squirrels love to mess with some of my plants. Ripped the only healthy leaf I had on philodendron I’m trying to nurse back to health. Any one have any tips or tricks on what to do I don’t want to harm the squirrels just don’t want them to kill my plants for fun!

Please forgive me as I am very new to plants, but I've noticed several issues with my peace lily and I'm looking for some more expert advice. I have been following the care plan to a T and although I'm aware this might not always be perfect, I feel like the care plan has made it worse. I am confused because parts of the plant seem to be thriving and I've even seen some new sprouts and flowers come up, but as you can see below, one of the flowers has started to turn brown very quickly. Additionally, several of the smaller leaves have begun to yellow and wilt. For context, I live in AZ and it has been getting hotter recently, but I keep my plant in an air conditioned room and allow it plenty of sun as needed. Any thoughts?

One of my peace lilies have taken a nose dive and I have no idea why. I got these two together a few years back. Though we’ve had some ups and downs figuring out our system, they normally mirror the same condition. So, to see one on the come-up and beginning to flower while the other looks like she’s on her death bed is confusing and worrying. Even when the one began to flower a few weeks ago, the other seemed fine (I figured she just needs a little more time; no biggie). But, a few days ago, I noticed her weltering. I watered them both and switched their position so she’d get more sun but, she started looking worse so I switched them back. When I checked this morning, I see she looks like she’s on her way out. I touched the soil and its dry at the top though I can tell its still damp underneath. Idk if I should water her more, leave her alone or what. Im so lost.*

Back from a few days away and I had house / dog / plant sitters taking care of everything. Poor little coleus is looking rough though. Ideas as to what has happened? Was it, perhaps, overwatered? Suggestions would be welcome. I propagated “Cole” myself so I feel attached!

Hello I repotted all my plants about a month ago using soil for houseplants from my local garden centre. Since doing this the soil just seems rubbish. Whenever I water the plants, they don’t drain, the water sits on top and spills out and if I have a window open and it’s windy we end up with soil all over the house. Anyone know why that is? Thanks x

Help help Can anyone tell me if my plant is showing overwater or underwater symptoms? I not quite sure. I feel like maybe over cause the leaves are moist and baby plant underneath is falling over.. Can someone recommend on what I should do first?😩 Thanks in advance!

Spider mite or predatory/beneficial mite?? The vast majority of them are located in/on the moss pole, and the plant itself does not seem to have other “normal” spider mite symptoms.
