Do you guys know what this is? It looks like there’s eggs inside. And it’s squishy but I can’t pop it even though I smushed it with another utensil. I do have a recurring problem with thrips, spider mites and a small amount of aphids. It seems I just can’t keep up with them. But upon spraying them today I found two leaves with this on my croton (who doesn’t seem to be affected by pests even tho the others are) and I have found leaves on others before. Might they be using him as a nursery and then migrating to the others? The spray I’m using is a mix of neem oil and Castille soap on water.

Hey everyone. So I just got this rubber plant a week ago and it was in over watered soil no drainage holes and just sat in its own wet soil. I replanted it in a better pot with new soil and got rid of any bad roots. How ever the leaves don’t look better the seem like they are doing worse. Any advice?!? Worried sick about this guy

Since I brought this discounted philodendron ring of fire home from a local houseplant shop I’ve had constant issues with it. I treated it for root rot and switched it to purely being in water so I can keep an eye on it, and have had to trim its rotten roots less and less which is great but it’s got spots of mildew on the stems from being in the water. I have leca, perlite and moss which I could switch it to as a step up from simply water, but I just don’t know how to get it to recover fully even though it has signs of new growth. Any suggestions and advice would be much appreciated!

My philodendron white wizard is just not thriving. It is putting out smaller and smaller leaves, so I checked the roots and moved it from soil to water (a week ago so I’m not expecting a miracle recovery yet) because the roots were dying off. I think it gets decent light from the grow light and I’ve always been careful not to overwater. I’m worried that my pink princess is going the same way, as it’s lost three older leaves in a week. What am I doing wrong?!

Hi everyone I have a small syngonium red heart which I believe is currently the bane of my life. Twice now she’s has big browning soft leaves. I only water her from the bottom unless I’m fertilising and she’s was in a part chunky mix, now in a tropical mix soil. I’ve checked her roots and no sign or rot anywhere. Before I changed the soil it was dry on the top and bottom but still quite wet in the middle. Am I best to just wait it out in the new soil as this app is saying it’s underwatered. Also how much light do these need? I feel like I’m getting a lot of conflicting care suggestions online Thank you

What does yellow spreading color mean on a lucky bamboo?

I couldn’t get a super clear photo but these little tiny bugs have been crawling around in my lifesaver cactus’s soil and I’m not sure if they’re causing damage or not, but I’m worried they might be. Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? Also it’s not captured in the photo but it is a deeper reddish brown color.

My little eucalyptus has some shriveled spots and some dust looking spots. Recently I moved it outside because it’s gotten warmer and the inside area didn’t have enough sun, so it has bright indirect sun now. Does anyone know what might be happening? All suggestions, ideas, and diagnoses’s would be greatly appreciated.

What is this thing? I have been treating my ficus for scale, but after five rounds of neem, it didn’t get rid of it. Someone told me to try bonide granules and I did. After doing so, within a short period of time, these funny little millipede looking things were dropping out of the tree; actually, quite a few. They dried up immediately, but I do have one to show you, if you can see it by enlarging it. It’s kind of creepy thinking my plant has had these things all this time. So, does anybody have any ideas? Obviously, the bonide killed them; but my ficus isn’t looking 100% either. Comments? đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«đŸ’šđŸȘŽ

Hello! Another prop question, so I saved these node/aerial root cuttings from a pothos with root rot, the inside of each cutting looked fine and not brown from rot before I put them in room temp water. Should I have dipped these in hydrogen peroxide before propping or is it okay? When should I change out the water, it’s been a few days but looks kindve sludgy.

Hello first time using this app, but does anyone know any kid friendly ways to get rid of indoor plant gnats?

M. deliciosa 3 days status post pruning and repotting presenting with discreet patches of flat white spots isolated to all stems and without involvement of leaves. During repotting, extensive L. birnbaumii spores were removed from soil and roots. No root rot was appreciated and the roots appeared firm and white; healthy growth throughout. Stems had no evidence of patches at that time. A mixture of 1 tbsp sodium bicarbonate was generously sprayed over the root system, top of the soil, stems, and leaves of the plant before repotting into a mixture of MiracleGro Indoor and MiracleGro Tropical soil. Several ounces of a diluted solution of Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed (1 capful of stock mixed 1 gallon of H2O) fertilized the soil after repotting into its new 16-inch diameter terra cotta planter. It was placed near the window to increase light exposure, promote water uptake, and transpiration and discourage fungal growth. Given this history, I am curious to know precisely what these patches are? Thanks in advance for your read and any thoughts offered!

Can someone please tell me if this is a fungus or what? When I bought the plant a couple weeks ago, it was pristine. I repotted it cuz it seemed to be in soaking wet soil. I looked at it a couple days ago and noticed some black/brown along some of the edges so I though maybe it got too much light from the lamp. I don't have it in direct sun. Then 2 days ago I saw these brownish things on the leaves. Please help!
