Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on with my Monstera? He was thriving for the longest time, but now he’s developing these spots on his leaves and his new shoots are looking unhealthy

I kept telling my mom she needed to get that mold out of her fiddle leaf that lives in her sun room. She obviously didnt listen but now got some crazy looking mushrooms coming out of it!

Can this baby be saved!?! I started noticing yellowing leaves and realized that the soil was way too wet, but now I think the soil is way too dry. I can’t seem to find a happy medium yet. I watered it today with distilled water and hope she might bounce back, but is it possibly too late? When I follow the original watering schedule, it was too damp, I think I let it go too long without watering. Fingers crossed.

Over the summer, my Mandevilla began losing her flowers and leaves without giving me any new growth, and it started staying wet longer than usual. She’s never been repotted, so I suspected that was the issue. To my surprise, my dad found a massive pot & took it upon himself to repot my plant… in garden soil… for in-ground plants. Not seeing the root system myself, I asked how it looked. He said the roots were white, but there was hardly soil left in the bucket. I know he just wanted something to keep busy with and do something nice, but I’m worried. That’s where you guys come in! Is there any hope for this gem? Should I cut it down? It did recently give me 2 blooms, so it’s still somewhat active. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 💚

SOS!!! This plant as well as one other quickly (within 1 day) developed blackening on the leaves. I know it cannot be root rot as this plant hasn’t been watered recently and perked up after its last watering a little over a week ago. Next watering is in a few days. Also… new growth has appeared as this leaf has blackened?? Any ideas what could be going on?? TIA

Does anyone have any advice about taking care of spider plants? I had about two over the course of 1 year and both died pretty quickly. When I take them to my parents house over the summer they flourish but when I take them back with me to school they die a few months later. Any suggestions?? For extra context my apartment at school doesn’t have a lot of natural light so I mainly use grow lights for my plants. I also put the spider plants around the same area of my other low light plants. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

OVERwatered diagnosis?! OK, so I have always know a Fiddle is not the ideal plant for my climate/home but I thought that since we got a huge humidifier this year I could take one on…I got this guy from a friend and he looked pretty happy when he got here but has since dropped over 10 leaves and the brown edges have made their way to almost every leaf. The diagnosis AI said overwatered but I have been waiting a week for the top few inches to dry out and it has plenty of drainage and is not sitting in water. Help! Does anyone else think overwatering is the case? The air vent next to it is always closed and it is in an east facing window. The last photo is of when I brought him home…

Hi all! I have a hoya krimson queen and a hoya carnosa ripple that both have mealy bugs. It's been an ongoing issue for months. I feel like I've tried everything besides repotting. Neem oil, combing through the entire plant with rubbing alcohol and q-tips, spraying the whole plant with alcohol, quarantine, every combination of those things. It's mostly targeting hoyas and I'm so frustrated and tired of trying to treat it without success, any tips?

Plant friends, looking for some advice. I got this purple waffle back in October and she was thriving. My house doesn’t have a lot of great lighting so I gave her a grow light and a humidifier. Her leaves started turning yellow and dropping like crazy so I moved her outside. I’m in Florida so I thought she’d like the humidity plus more sun. However we got a random cold front and I forgot to bring her in and all her leaves got crinkly and super dry (soil was wet). I’ve brought her back inside, she looked a little root bound when I took her out of the pot but her roots look good. I’ve removed all the dead leaves. Should I cut the steams back too? Advice on how to care for her would be helpful too. Thanks!

Monstera help! Is the pot too big? Why do the leaves grow but the. Turn black? Should I prune off stems? The smaller plant isn’t thriving but it was exciting because I propagated it myself last year. Should I separate them and give them each smaller pots? Or add more monstera plants to this pot? Pot is about 4 feet from a grow light and away from drafts. Soil is slightly moist a few inches below surface. TIA!

I’ve had this citrus tree (I don’t know which variety- I’d love to find d out!) since it was 3 inches tall. It is now nearly 3 feet tall and had been inconsistently happy and growing and then struggling. This month I see new growth, but overall the plant isn’t thriving. It has never blossomed. I have it on a wintered slowed watering schedule, but that may have been the wrong direction. (Planta’s watering/care schedule) Even when I was watering more frequently, the leaves are yellowed and semi-crispy. I use a grow light. Can anyone advise? PS- also curious about pruning.

My poor painted lady philodendron is struggling to stay alive. She suffered from root rot so I had to remove a lot of the plant. I've tried putting her in water but that made it rot more and now I have her in a very chunky mix but I'm afraid she's going to die. She's lost all her beautiful pink stems. Does anyone has any advice?
