Can anyone help identify these little bumps along my plant? It was a gift and it came with them. Trying to decide if theyâre dangerous and I need to get rid of it to save my other plants.
Does anyone know what I can do with my philodendron birkin? Iâve been having gnat problems, so I let the soil dry out and got some sticker traps. I havenât seen gnats anymore, but I just noticed the leaves softening and they have these small yellow spots on most of the leaves. How do I get rid of gnats completely if they come back after watering the plant? If this is a pest problem, can this plant be saved?
Can someone please tell me if I can save this strawberry plant ?
Can anyone help with how to fix this drooping fatsia japonica? Not over/under watered Light source is good Was thriving until I repotted due to plant rot Repotted with multi purpose soil Currently had support stems in place but without it virtually looks like a trailing plant nowâŠ
So days ago my orchid was literally in the brink of death, and i was sad and confused couse I didnât know what i did wrong , so i searched up a little bit and a lot of people here were great help and i was able to save my plant . But iwas not sure if she was doing well couse I didnât see any change , until this morning I noticed a new leaf growing and iâm sooo happy i wanted to cry and all. So i just wanted to say thank you to you guys this is my verg first plant and i really didnât want her to die( my mom kept saying she was gonna buy me a new one and i was like nooooo đI donât want tooo)
Do you guys know what this is? It looks like thereâs eggs inside. And itâs squishy but I canât pop it even though I smushed it with another utensil. I do have a recurring problem with thrips, spider mites and a small amount of aphids. It seems I just canât keep up with them. But upon spraying them today I found two leaves with this on my croton (who doesnât seem to be affected by pests even tho the others are) and I have found leaves on others before. Might they be using him as a nursery and then migrating to the others? The spray Iâm using is a mix of neem oil and Castille soap on water.
Hey everyone. So I just got this rubber plant a week ago and it was in over watered soil no drainage holes and just sat in its own wet soil. I replanted it in a better pot with new soil and got rid of any bad roots. How ever the leaves donât look better the seem like they are doing worse. Any advice?!? Worried sick about this guy
My basil is sad :( it was sad when I got it and itâs even worse now, how do I help the poor guy?
Since I brought this discounted philodendron ring of fire home from a local houseplant shop Iâve had constant issues with it. I treated it for root rot and switched it to purely being in water so I can keep an eye on it, and have had to trim its rotten roots less and less which is great but itâs got spots of mildew on the stems from being in the water. I have leca, perlite and moss which I could switch it to as a step up from simply water, but I just donât know how to get it to recover fully even though it has signs of new growth. Any suggestions and advice would be much appreciated!
My philodendron white wizard is just not thriving. It is putting out smaller and smaller leaves, so I checked the roots and moved it from soil to water (a week ago so Iâm not expecting a miracle recovery yet) because the roots were dying off. I think it gets decent light from the grow light and Iâve always been careful not to overwater. Iâm worried that my pink princess is going the same way, as itâs lost three older leaves in a week. What am I doing wrong?!
Hi everyone I have a small syngonium red heart which I believe is currently the bane of my life. Twice now sheâs has big browning soft leaves. I only water her from the bottom unless Iâm fertilising and sheâs was in a part chunky mix, now in a tropical mix soil. Iâve checked her roots and no sign or rot anywhere. Before I changed the soil it was dry on the top and bottom but still quite wet in the middle. Am I best to just wait it out in the new soil as this app is saying itâs underwatered. Also how much light do these need? I feel like Iâm getting a lot of conflicting care suggestions online Thank you
Iâm growing a tomato seedling and I just checked on the plant and it has these white dots on it that werenât there yestoday
Is this little red spot bad for this succulent? Itâs been nonstop in my window since I got it 2 weeks ago. & it just recently showed up a few days ago
What does yellow spreading color mean on a lucky bamboo?
I couldnât get a super clear photo but these little tiny bugs have been crawling around in my lifesaver cactusâs soil and Iâm not sure if theyâre causing damage or not, but Iâm worried they might be. Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? Also itâs not captured in the photo but it is a deeper reddish brown color.
My little eucalyptus has some shriveled spots and some dust looking spots. Recently I moved it outside because itâs gotten warmer and the inside area didnât have enough sun, so it has bright indirect sun now. Does anyone know what might be happening? All suggestions, ideas, and diagnosesâs would be greatly appreciated.
What is this thing? I have been treating my ficus for scale, but after five rounds of neem, it didnât get rid of it. Someone told me to try bonide granules and I did. After doing so, within a short period of time, these funny little millipede looking things were dropping out of the tree; actually, quite a few. They dried up immediately, but I do have one to show you, if you can see it by enlarging it. Itâs kind of creepy thinking my plant has had these things all this time. So, does anybody have any ideas? Obviously, the bonide killed them; but my ficus isnât looking 100% either. Comments? đ”âđ«đđȘŽ
Hello! Another prop question, so I saved these node/aerial root cuttings from a pothos with root rot, the inside of each cutting looked fine and not brown from rot before I put them in room temp water. Should I have dipped these in hydrogen peroxide before propping or is it okay? When should I change out the water, itâs been a few days but looks kindve sludgy.
Hello first time using this app, but does anyone know any kid friendly ways to get rid of indoor plant gnats?
