Does anyone know what wrong with my monstera?? Idk what the yellow thing is
Pale tomato plant? I placed my tomatoes in full sun and they look like they’re getting sun bleached. There hasn’t been much growth beyond this point. I’ve never grown tomatoes so I don’t know if it’s supposed to look like this.
Discoloration? Does anyone know what this is and why it’s happening? Seems to be only affecting one leaf for now but I’m worried 😓
Wtf?? Why does my decursiva look like this?? No visible pests. Was completely fine last water.
Hi everyone! I’m kinda new to this, I had my small collection of home plants for over a year but still learning. I follow the schedule or try to from the app, but I’m not sure what I’ve been doing wrong. It’s looking very sad, leaves are very wrinkly and there was some yellow leaves that I removed. I thought it was too dry but maybe I overwatered? Can I still save it? 😢
hi, i have a new string of pearls (abt 3 weeks) and it has mold. i’ve never watered it. normally i’d scoop the top layer and sprinkle a little cinnamon but unsure in this case. any recommendations?
Give me strength! I’ve spent all summer fighting fungus gnats and every time I think I’ve got them, they’re back. Then, these tiny white bugs started crawling all over the soil of my plants, and up the stems. I don’t think they’re spider mites but I’m not sure… I have over 40 plants and have never had real pest issues. But we moved next to a “rewilded” park in January, and this summer has been hell. Having tried everything (and I really mean that - apart from ladybugs), I’ve gone scorched earth. I’m repotting everything. And, scouring their pots, and washing the roots and spraying the leaves. Then, quarantine in a bathroom (for humidity, plus a grow light), with a liberal pesticide spray. Then, when they come out of the bathroom, they get an alcohol/horticultural soap rub. I’m 80% done, and I’m exhausted. I love these plants but Christ, if this doesn’t work, I may scream… it’s worth it right?!
Still new to plant parenting! My variegated monstera standleyana has one lower leaf that turned yellow over the weekend. For the past few weeks it has been showing new growth like crazy considering it was propagating in water just a couple months ago. I came into work today and now the edge of the yellow leaf is browning but the little leaf on the left just popped out today. This pot doesn’t have a drainage hole so I know that is an immediate issue but it’s just weird that everything but that one leaf is doing great. Any ideas or recommendations?
Hi all, Anyone know what this is on my BOP? Is this normal? Thanks!
No matter what I do her leaves seem to always get kind of brown and crispy. She did have a problem with spider mites, but I got rid of it and even her new leaves after a week or two get brown and crispy. I feel like I’m watering her plenty but maybe not or maybe I’m watering her too much. I’m trying to stick with what the app says.
What would the white spots be on my black prince? Also, the white texture on my jelly bean, doesn't look like mealy bugs
I need help with my monstera! I just recently got her and repotted her into a bigger pot. She started wilting and getting yellow leaves, and I snip them off. I checked her roots and snipped off potential root rot? I gave her a fresh new chunky mix and waited to water her for a bit so roots could recover but she’s still wilting a little. Anyone know what’s happening?
Is their anything I can do with this? The roots still look good but the plant was died.
One of the new leaves on my avocado plant has a brown, dead tip on it. Is this salt buildup or could it be something else? I am giving the plant a very deep watering if it is salt buildup. I also let the soil dry out almost completely between watering. Is that too dry?
Hi everyone! Bell Pepper - Can someone please help me identify what pests these are?? Anyone have recommendations to help my bell pepper out?? She stays in my greenhouse outside and just showed up with all these bugs on it. I know there are aphids on it but I have no idea what the dark spots are… I got ladybugs to help but they didn’t even touch the plant (released at night).
Help me revive my repotted wild lantana!! I had some lantana growing behind my house and decided to try growing it in a pot to try and attract butterflies to the property since my mom really wanted a little patio butterfly garden, but it isn’t doing so great in the pot. Here’s how it looks now vs. how it looked a week ago. I’m new to growing plants but have a decent working knowledge. I noticed when I was digging it up that the roots seem like they’re doing an underground runner thing, so I wonder if the pot was too crowded or something. The pot is 1 ft, plastic, with drainage and there are multiple plants in one pot. They grew close together in the wild so I figured it was okay. Planta said to place them full sun so I placed them facing south, but only after a day or so they started to wilt. At first I thought they were going into shock from the repotting, but I’m wondering if they got too much sun. It rained 2 inches over the weekend and that did nothing to help the withered parts of the plant. In fact, I think it made it worse. I moved it underneath the roof of my patio to give it some protection today, so hopefully that will give it some breathing room to recover. Is my plant oversunned or overwatered? Please let me know what else I can do to save this plant and make my mom happy :(
Does anyone know what this is?
How do I know the difference between spider mites and a spider that has just taken up residency in my plant?
URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE 😖!!! This is nearly two months apart, the health of my plant was already declining a little which i was never sure why since i watered him when i was supposed to. Recently i gave my plant to a friend for a 2 week period, and it seems i accidentally told her to water him too much, so he is now overwatered. So i am currently not watering him for a while (Before I would normally water him with Tap water and Baby Bio Houseplant food), but i need more help on how to make him happy again. I am desperate to revive his health, he is my one and only plant and it really upsets me. 😣😞
