I have grow this China Doll from a 1” tall seedling and it has been a constant challenge. I FINALLY got it in a situation where it was getting the light it wanted and instead of stretching out it started filling in…and then all of a sudden this has happened. Over the last 5 or 6 days the branches are just dying. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello! I planted this beautiful Rose bush just a few weeks ago- and now, besides the Lantern fly- it’s now being eaten, and tan spots.? I’m so sad! Can anyone please advise? It gets afternoon sun, and still getting growth- what can I treat with? Thank you!
I’m growing an avocado tree and I pruned it down and it looks like it’s wilting and dying at the top. Can anyone help please?
I keep getting these spots on my Monstera. I believe they are fungal. Any suggestions on how to best treat? I have new growth and have already replanted it.
Help, my painted lady lost her baby! I posted here a while ago about how incredibly nervous I was taking care of a sempervivum. Everyone was wonderful and helpful and the antithesis to the aggressive “you’re doing EVERYTHING WRONG” attitude on other plant forums. To my surprise and suspicion, that plant is still alive! Having an incredibly hard time rooting, but…that’s for another post. Thank you to everyone who helped keep my plant alive! I’ve added three more plants to my collection, including this painted lady who has been doing well up until the last few days. I noticed a few times that small leaves would dry up and fall off of the “tail” and I wasn’t too worried. This plant was shipped to me, so I figured it would take a few weeks to “settle in” (it was introduced to light slowly, has been on Planta recommended watering schedule, if not a little longer between) and the tail seems to be fully dying. I’m not sure if it’s part of the growth cycle, if it can be trimmed(?), or if there’s anything I should do. She has lost some lower leaves (a few that were dying when she arrived) and I used a clean plastic stick to carefully move them off and away from the plant without “ripping” any still-living leaves off. That seemed pretty normal for an echeveria with leaves that are close to soil and getting such little light, and isn’t a recurring problem. I can leave it alone fairly easily (overbearing plant parent) but it seems like it’s angry at me and I’m not sure what to do. I can add more detail if needed — any advice is appreciated! I don’t know how this plant is supposed to act! Also: I use, for four ~2” plants, two 10w grow lights, plus another that I’m *almost certain* is also 10w but leaves a bit to be desired. If I’m awake (could be as long as from 7 am to 11 pm) they are getting light. I’m not even sure how to check for root rot without absolutely traumatizing them, but I can see visible drainage when I water and I’m just…so confused. I tagged the plant in the post so that the original “tail” is visible.
First time trying to grow baby lettuces indoors. Love the little set up…except I came back into my kitchen to see two lil ‘pest-dents’ in the dirt. Guilty party tried to pretend-sleep, as if she didn’t do it. Flippers going on asap 🩴….or plastic cover. 🪴😁
Hi everyone i recently got this silverline succulent plant and I think I overwatered her and some of her leaves are turning and overtime she started getting those white spots on her leaves, is my plant okay?? Any advice welcome please
Is this scales? Just wanting to make sure I’m treating for the right thing
Please help me! She’s a Dieffenbachia. When we first got her she had several leaves but they all turned brown and fell off. I’ve repotted her and she had hardly any roots. Since then she has struggled growing. All her new leaves are growing in brown and moist. They have a hard time unfurling. Please any tips would be appreciated, we received her from my bf’s grandmas funeral so she’s important.
I'm new to houseplants and I'm really struggling with my swiss cheese monstera. I have it under a grow light and I'm very careful about overwatering. Some of the leaves are wilting and browning and I don't know why. Any suggestions?
one of the leaves started turning yellow and now it’s shriveling up :( i’m new to plants so idk what is wrong. what do i do?!?! 😭
I got a watermelon peperomia in the mail a few weeks ago. It came in not great condition during an unfortunate heat spell. At the time I didn’t think it would survive, but it seems very healthy now. I noticed today that all the new leaves are curled, instead of flat like most watermelon leaves usually are. Is this normal for new leaves? If not, could this be from the damage it sustained during shipping, or is there something I am doing wrong? All my other peperomia are healthy and appear to be thriving.
How long after using systemic granules should I wait before introducing lady bugs?
Hello all! I bought this plant a week ago from the clearance section as it already had the browning leaves. I was looking for some insight as to what I can do to stop the browning? I repotted it in fresh soil and it doesn’t seem to have any bugs.
Can anyone tell me what is going on with my Rubber plant. Most of the leaves are perfectly healthy but there are 2 or 3 like this. Its in a window that only gets morning sun, but also has a grow light on it for 6 hrs if the day. I don’t think I’m over watering it, as I’m going with what the app says. Thanks for any help.
I repotted purple basil into a drainage system and have it outside on my patio with some plants. Any advice to save it would be appreciated unless it just needs to finish the shock of it all. I’ve had it about 10 days only.
Hello! New here and concerned about one branch of my indoor fern plant. Most leaves and branches are doing well, including new growth but one is dying and turning brown. Cut the branch off or what? Any ideas?
Could this be that I have overwatered her? She was fine earlier this week, I pruned her, and then this happened?
I bought a pepperspot peperomia yesterday. It is still in its original nursery pot. This morning I noticed a weed growing in the pot with it. I pulled out the weed but it was a very stubborn one and a tiny bit of the plant was damaged as it lost a few leaves and stems. I was afraid the weed would kill the plant eventually so I thought pulling it out would be the best thing to do even a bit of the plant was hurt in the process. Is there anything I should do to treat it? I will keep watching for the weed to resurface in case I didn’t get it all.
quick question, recently acquired a pepper and tomato plant. i was wondering what is the best way to keep pest away (specifically once fruit starts to grow)?
