Hello yall!
I’d like you to start off by saying I’m not great with leafy plants. I excel at succulents and cacti. I don’t even know what plant this is but I’ve been trying to water it more than my others and then realized that I might have been watering it too much. I left it alone for a little and now two of the leaves are yellow. It seems to only be the smaller leaves and I cant tell if its new growth or old. What do yall think is the cause?

Ok I don’t have a plant question- I have app questions. I’m finding this app frustrating
For example- why am I tasked with updating the progress of my plant when I can’t find the history of it? Why does the newest photo erase the previous photo?
And why can’t I update where I’ve placed my plant? And why can’t I find a place to ask questions like this?
Thanks

birds of paradise with some yellowing leaves. Are they just old or potentially other issues? In a south facing window

Would anyone be able to tell me what my best plan of action would be against these? Im trashing the palm tree these seem to be affecting the most but i know the bigger issue is that they spread.
I use “natural” remedies as much as possible, like sprays with neem oil/cinnamon oil/every kind of citrus and mint. As far as i can tell they’ve only gotten to this palm. I keep him on my porch with a few other plants (like a banana tree right next to it) but they seem to only want my palm. Ig that makes some sense given all my other plants out here have thicker waxier leaves but still just want to know better ways to fight them incase i find some on a plant i dont want to get rid of.
And looking for any ideas for what could have attracted them.

What should do to keep this plant alive? I am new to indoors plants. I have a water cone with a wine bottle that I maintain every week to make sure that I get enough water but I think I overwatered. I also think it might be a light issue as where I put it might be a problem

I just discovered that my aloe plant has severe root rot and has completely rotted away from its roots. Is there any chance that the plant will survive and what should I do to help?

Hey all. I just started this week with three blueberry plants (premier rabbiteye from a nursery, a powder blue and premier rabbit from Home Depot), a buttercrunch lettuce (from Home Depot), and chives and sweet mint from (Ace Hardware). I have repotted the herbs and lettuce in potting soil and mushroom compost, and the blubes have varying mixes because I was told a lot and read about a lot of different ways to do soil mixes so. Organic potting soil, pine bark mulch and mini-nuggets, Dr. Earth Acid Lovers fertilizer, and Soil Acidifier. I mention this because each blueberry pot has different mixes to see what does well and what didn't work. I have these mixes noted for later. I named the blubes Donna (tall powder blue rabbiteye in the white pot), Premmie (small premier rabbiteye in the other white pot), and Prima (the tall premier rabbiteye in the black pot). The lettuce is Lotta and the chives and mint are Chloe and Maeve, respectively. My concerns are with Premmie, Prima and Lotta. Premmie has 1/4 of its small mass drooping and soft-leaved. Prima did have a lot of red on its leaves but has thusly recovered (probably because of stresses of new location, change in soil, and weather). Prima has a section of browning leaves that I'm mildly concerned about. The plant tag was there until today (had about 4 days) and I cut it off, so I'm unsure if that's related. Lotta has gone between wilting/drooping and soft leaves to normal and firmish leaves, and I can't tell if it's too much sun (6 direct hours), the changing heat, or watering. When I did Planta it said the porch was a bad location for the blubes and lettuce because of the sun, but Donna has been fine and I was told to just move them around for shade. I honestly don't have any other proper spot to move them unless I got, like, a table off the porch, because inside won't work. These plants are going to be container plants. I live in Zone 6. I don't know if that's necessary info but maybe. I just watered them all today but skipped yesterday because today IS HOT.

I have a new Hoya that we have been caring for for a few weeks now with a grow light for 12 hour cycles. Is this burning the leaves? What is the issue here that is making the discoloration. Only present on the underside of leaves.

Help! Found these little white bugs in my soil mix. Do I need to scrap all of it and start over? Soil is in a “moisture and pest resistant” container but there is a ton of moisture inside…

Anyone have any tips or tricks for an elephant ear with a dry leaf?
It’s been a rough road with my black magic elephant ear but so far she grew a single new leaf and has one on the way but now it’s super dry and was cracking.
I misted her, am getting a humidifier for her, and also just cleaned her leaves from all the water stains and trimmed some of the damage…
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
I also posted this in anything about plants but thought I should post here as well!
