Gasteria aloe plant has been developing black spots. I just took it out to prune but it’s usually indoors. Is this fungus? What do I buy to get rid of it

My sister took her snake plant out of the pot to water and she found all these creepy crawlys at bottom of pot. I believe they are like centipedes but not sure. Not sure if it’s a bad sign for the plant? Any ideas?

Hi everyone! My Aloe Vera and Plume Asparagus plant have something growing / living in the topsoil - I have not looked throughout the soil to check for more. There are loads of tiny white balls surrounded by a hairy material (it looks like eggs - but I’m not too sure). The Aloe Vera is more affected, whereas the Plume Asparagus only has a small patch in the topsoil (again, I have not checked throughout the soil for more). I have included some pictures. Please can ANYONE tell me what this might be and if it is bad for the plant. If so, please can you also tell me how to eradicate it, if necessary? p.s. both plants are very healthy and I follow Planta’s way of care. Thank you thank you 😁😁

Fiddle Leaf Fig Posted photos to show the gradual transition over the past 3 weeks after bringing home another FLF. Has anyone seen anything like this before? No signs of any pests, and it showed up on leaves in the middle of the plant. At first I thought it could be sunburn, but now I’m thinking it could be something fungal due to the circular-shaped lesions that developed. Any other thoughts?

These herbs aren’t thriving and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong! They get morning sunlight in my kitchen window, and they are being watered 2-3 times weekly. Please help if you can!

Hey guys just wondering how can I control the number of soil mites? I have an abundance of them that have spawned in over night… I read that unlike spider mites, soil mites are harmless and beneficial (they’re definitely soil mites as there’s none on the leaves of any of my plants but loads in the soil and my plants all seem healthy) but there’s so many of them running around the pot, it’s not a pretty sight and it’s making me itchšŸ˜‚ So is there a way to reduce them? Sorry for the bad photo they’re so tiny!

Can anyone help me identify what’s going on with my money tree? I water fairly regularly (only when the top half/third of the soil has dried out) and it gets pretty bright, indirect light (no direct sun whatsoever). My initial suspicion was spider mites but there seems to be no signs of pests. I’ve narrowed it down to either a fungal/viral issue or an iron deficiency but would love more insight!

Need ASAP help please. I was cleaning out my chameleon cage to clean up the plants and noticed mealy bugs on the pothos (so I assume they are on everything in there). I know I can treat with 70% isopropyl alcohol, but all I have is 90%. Can I just mix that with a little water to make it 70%? I need quick help because I have to get these plants treated and back in the cage so he has hidey, climbey places. Chameleons stress easily.

I just noticed that my philodendron birkin’s stem is browning. For a while its new leaves have had these brown lines on them, but now one of the leaves are about to break off. She’s been doing great after I mixed her soil with orchid bark, but now… I’m pretty new to plant parenting, and any help is much appreciated. I’m pretty sure this isn’t part of the issue, but I have some fungus gnats flying around that I want to get rid of. Oh, and that brown spec on one of the stems is just dirt btw.

Hi all! I have a question about a plant that I’m watching for my mom. I noticed that only one stalk(?) of her majesty palm was staying green but i hesitated to pull the other two off until now. Previously I had been cutting the dead leaves. Today I gently tugged on one of the dead ones and the whole bulb thing came out, and what I think were mealybugs were all over the bottom of it, the soggy part. I just would like to know any tips on next steps. I wanna save the plant but I also am hesitant to do anything that might jeopardize my other plants. I can’t keep it outside because I think it’s much too hot in Phoenix right now. Additional detail: I know it’s in much too big a pot. When I repotted it I checked the roots and they looked extremely robust and bound so upped the size by a little. Perhaps I didn’t notice that the roots weren’t great or maybe I watered too much, but I tend to underwater more than anything. Thank you!

I was planting some flowers today and I found AN EGG in the soil where I was trying to plant some bulbs. Does anyone know how to tell if it’s a snake’s egg or not? I live in PA and I’m very new to outdoor gardening. I really have no clue what to do with the lil guy. 😰 (I’m also trying to plant some Asiatic Lillies so any advice would be greatly appreciated.)

Hello! I am a new plant parent and am feeling a bit lost :( This is Bromelli, a Bromeliad. I have only had her for a week, i purchased from a flower market. I noticed the leaves turning brown and am not sure what to do. I am thinking it could be a drainage problem? She currently lives in my indoor pool room so i doubt that light or humidity is the issue here. Are the roots supposed to be this brown color? If anyone has any tips or advice that would be greatly appreciated šŸ™šŸ¾ please let me know if i can save her or if it’s already too far gone 🄲thank you!!!

I inherited this plant from my boss. I’d love to do anything to bring it back to being happy. It was super dry so I gave it a good drink, but are there any other tricks I can try or signs of deeper problems I’ll need to take care of before it’s back to health?

I received this Raindrop/Coin Leaf Peperomia in the mail two days ago. The leaves were a bit bent and curled from the packaging and the trip. Does anyone have any advice for how to help with the bending of the leaves? There aren’t any direct bends that make it folded in half or anything. It was just secured in the box with rubber bands. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. (I’m also trying to pick a name for this new plant, so any name suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.)

Look carefully! What are those white spots on the back of the leaves of my Celibes pepper? She has been sprayed three times with neem and the white spots seem to reoccur a few days after the spray. These little spots will get a bit larger and be very obvious, which it was the first time I saw them. Anybody have any idea what it is? How do I treat it? A big TXS. šŸ˜ŠšŸ’ššŸŖ“
