Hey all, I have had this plant for a year, I’m not sure how to care for it, I follow the guides in planta but it’s not seeming to keep leaves. Is that a normal thing? It’s flowered and I got those clipped off after a while so it can focus on growing but it’s just sad looking.. I need help. It’s leaves dry up and get crispy so I’m worried I’m doing something wrong.

Hello I’ve had this rattle snake for a couple years and I went to water him today and noticed he suddenly looks wildly depressed 😭 I noticed he was leaning a few days ago but now he does not look okay. Any help to save him would be appreciated.

Does anyone recognize what is wrong with this bird’s nest fern? :( it’s never really been happy. Repotted it back in May. It gets low light, has drainage, might be a wee bit root bound already? I check regularly for pests and don’t see any evidence of them. There are, however, old scars from cat bites. 🤦🏻♀️ It is getting a new leaf in the middle, at least!
Thank you!

Hi! Noticed my alocasia odoro silver is yellowing, I see healthy roots but it doesn’t seem rooted enough for a repot which is what Planta diagnosed (suggested repot). I don’t believe I’m overwatering etc. Just any tips? Thanks!

I have been doing some cuttings. However, I was changing the water and going to dip the ends in root hormone, but I saw this slimy, snot thing on the end of my Chinese evergreen cutting. Is this normal, is it just trying to grow roots? It’s only been in the water a week.

Was messing around with my plants and checking them out, saw something. Weird in the soil went to put it against a light, long story short, Larry decided growing mold was a good idea! So happy (🤥) taking him to get repotted at the plant vets (plant shop) tomorrow, what lovely money savers Planta are!!!!

Help! 🌱 my lovely monstera andanosii has beautiful dark green healthy leaves except for one that is more yellow, almost transparent? Should I cut it off? What could be the problem? Thank you!💕

Hi guys! I got gifted this Calla Lily last October and it died pretty quickly, but I couldn’t bear to get rid of it. It got left in my humid apartment for a couple of months and when I got back it has kind of gone insane. I’ve never owned a lily before and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be drooping/growing like it is, or if I should keep it tied up as I have it now. Any advice?

Has anyone here used mineral oil in place of horticultural oil on their plants? Specifically to treat/prevent spider mites, etc.
I’m hoping to get some insights on effectiveness, application techniques, etc.

I’m going to assume firstly that this is just a case of the winter blues that everyone is seemingly getting hit with :) but I’m getting a little worried about my two plants:
ZZ plant:
Had a few new shoots pop up about 3 months ago, they were doing alright, nothing surprising. Until about 3 weeks ago when the shoots started curling up and shrivelling. There’s been no change to the watering schedule and I’ve kept them in the same place that they thrived in sooo I’m unsure what’s going on🥹
Dragon tree:
Had no issue up until about a week and a half ago when all of a sudden I’ve had an avalanche of yellow leaves dropping from my plant. Completely in the dark with this but I’m assuming inconstant temperature is the culprit (heating and cooling of my room due to radiator being more active now)
Any thoughts??🌚

Just curious. This plant I cut some leaves that looked damaged. I noticed these little spots on the orange leaf. Should I be worried about them even though it’s pushing a new leaf out? Thanks! It’s a cherry red philodendron if that helps. 😊
