Hi! I noticed these spots on my rose leaves and worried it was black spot so I removed all of the leaves from the bush and treated with anti-fungal spray. The leaves just began growing back so I treated it again with anti-fungal as a preventative measures and noticed these spots again. Are the spots just a reaction to the fungal treatment? Or is this actually black spot? Thanks in advance from a new gardener!!!

Hi everyone! 🤓 I just picked up my first red leaf banana tree and was looking to get some advice. First, I noticed nearly all the leaves are dropping, some of the leaves are broken and some leave are browning. Should I consider cutting off the broken leaves to help promote new growth? and should I also cut off the browning leaves as well?

Hey there! So I got this philodendron pink princess about 4 weeks ago ish. And she just bloomed this new leaf. Is it normal for the leaf to be brown on one side? It feels a little mushy, but could that be because it just sprouted and it’s not fully grown yet? This leaf also took a longer time unraveling itself than the other leafs being produced at the time. Please help! I have been rising the humidity every day, and making sure she gets some bright sun! I rotate her about every other week so each side gets sun ☀️ also, is there any way to make sure she gets more pink on her leaves?

My Alocasia Frydek was doing great but then I put her by the window and soon after her leafs started doing this. Is it a pest or like humidity issues? Or maybe a root problem?

i’ve been noticing this on my golden pothos for a week or two now. i repotted a couple days ago and the roots look very healthy and it’s in a well-draining soil and gets watered every seven days or so. i didn’t see any bugs or anything when i repotted it. what could cause this? it’s only on this leaf

I noticed this white crystal like substance on my plants leaves, what could it be?? It’s even on the surface of the desk the plants are sitting on. It’s sticky too. Is it just minerals? Or some type of pest causing it

Hi there! I have a pest problem. Haven’t seen this kind of aphid before, it’s got a skinny long body and dries out my plant leaves. I thought it might be spider mites, but I’ve had those before and I see no webbing. Just finished a fungus gnat infestation—any clues on how to manage these little guys? Tysm!

my wild bergamot is being destroyed by some kind of pest. possibly snails because i've found some around the plants before, but i haven't seen them recently so i really don't know. i tried putting salt around it late last night, clearly not thinking clearly, bc it just damaged the railing lol. does anyone have any tips? i'm pretty much preparing myself emotionally at this point for it to not make it.

I had spider mites. I sprayed some infected plants two weeks in a row just to be safe and others just the once this weekend. Is it too soon to reintroduce my other plants around them?

I noticed this plant was dying at my work and I had to save it. First two photos were taken at work yesterday but just moving it caused the remaining leaves to fall off. I think it’s a dracaena but I’m not too sure. Definitely was overwatered and the base of the stem seems to be rotting heavily and I’m pretty sure the entire thing is at this point. I’ve given it fresh moisture control potting soil and will have lots of sunlight today. The signs of life at the base need urgent saving. Help!!

Hello plant friends! Can you shed some light on this issue of brown spots on the leaves of my plant baby :( I noticed these spots on half of the leaves and I removed it from where it was sitting by the window. I live in Arizona and summer is another level.

I’m growing basil. The leafs keep on dying and I’m losing one plant every few days. What is causing this.

How do I get rid of these? This plant lives in my room and I just cant. I tried soaking the plant in soapy water and all that did was over water the plant lol

Tomato help

My tomatoes were doing so well. I bought them from Home Depot with four already growing but after a few weeks the leaves seemed to be looking sadder and sadder. I water them every other day plus spray the leaves with water. I have them indoors because of the squirrels and this place has the most light. Any suggestions on what I can do to save them? They have plant food too so not sure what’s happening.

I have a little fly problem and I’m worried that they laid eggs and my little nuisance will become a bigger problem. I bought neem oil I was going to use to spray the soil of my plants, but also read cinnamon and peppermint were good deterrents for pests. Can I use all 3 at once? Or should I use the neem oil to get rid of the problem and then use the peppermint and cinnamon after to keep any pests from returning? Also, I’m worried about overwatering my plants with using this spray. How often should I spray (if more than once)?

i recently brought home an alocasia frydek that initially was thriving, but after i returned from a week-long trip, i found the soil had dried up and several leaves were drooping and yellowing. it seems it hasn’t quite got the grit my other plants do 😅 it’s been a day since i watered it, but they’re still drooping. from other’s experience, will it drop those leaves or will it eventually perk back up?

A friend gave me a monstera adansonii to take care of because it was dying, and it’s been doing well lately, lots of new growth and healthy leaves. I was looking at a new leaf today and noticed black thrips, so of course I panicked and then removed them one by one off all the leaves. I’m going to hose it down and then quarantine it. It’s not a horrible infestation but I am looking for some pesticide to treat it, does anyone have any recommendations?
