I have these tiny little gnat-like bugs on my plants. What do I do to get rid of them?

I had this old elephant plant-well past 20yrs, that developed edema the last few years of her life. I wanted to prop her before she died off so I found the healthiest stem I could and successfully got it rooted and then growing. Was careful to let dry between watering, but it’s tiny. Now I’m afraid this poor prop will also have edema forever, no stemming yet that looks pink and clean and some leaves are pocked. Can this baby ever outgrow her difficult infancy?

Planta helped me figure out what’s wrong with both of my spider plants! I’ve been watering from the top and all new growth and babies are stunted/browning. I thought it was for sure pests but Planta says water is trapped in the stems at the base. This makes total sense. Anyone else bottom water only?

Please help! This calathea was thriving about a week ago, and after repotting with what I’m afraid might’ve been some old/moldy soil & river rocks it’s barely hanging on. Is it worth washing the pot and trying again with fresh soil, or is it too late?

What’s going on here? (The yellow/ brown patch on the tip and the brown blotch on the leaf) I feel like I’ve tried everything! The leaves towards the bottom of the plant haven’t been shooting up or staying alive either. Watering issue?

As of lately, I’m seeing more yellow leaves than usual. The plant is in a self watering pot. I usually water once a week , about 20 oz. The plant is five years old.

Okay I need help just got this string of pearls a week ago and some of the pearls are becoming wrinkly and soft, but not the ones on the top, only the little strings coming off the pot I put a skewer in the dirt and it came out with dirt on it. This guy has a grow light and get some natural sun. Not sure what is going on any advise will help thank you!

Just repotted this guy cause I realized it’s been root bound. I didn’t see any root rot but these leaves seem to be getting worse as there wasn’t any spots on the other leaves yesterday but is now? I don’t know what’s wrong. It is out side but has only been over night and a day… :(

This small black mark is showing on a new Thai constellation leaf. I’m hoping it’s not the start of something nasty - any suggestions?

What are these insects? I bought this monstera Thai constellation from Rona but they were in self watering pots so I was going to repot them, when I looked closer today I see all these little bugs running and flying around the soil.. I looked under the leaves because I thought pests usually stay there but they are only in the soil and around the pot.. I’ve never dealt with pests before with my plants and I’m worried that they already flew to my other plants and are infesting them too, what do I do? Are they going to fly to my other plants,, and how do I get rid of them? Are they eating my plant? I don’t know💔

Hi everyone, I am wondering what kind of bug this is? I initially thought that it might be thrips, but after I talked to someone they said that they think it is white flies. Should I treat my plant to get rid of them? Probably, but I thought I would ask for another opinion (or a few) before I do it. (Ps the plant is a Euphorbia pulcherrima {poinsettia})

Ummmm. The Sun? Am I crazy or is the Sun just a bit…different this year. So hear me out, I plant Mammoth Sunflowers and this year I took to planting American Giant Hybrid? Sunflowers. My Mammoth seeds are generational, so I never repurchase those. The sun is literally baking them alive but the AGH seems to not be as affected. My cactus got burned. Fernando and I go way back we do and he has never been burned in a single afternoon. I’m located in Lubbock Texas on the High Plains. I can soak the soil and by midday it’s cracked. Im not crazy I swear. Is anyone else of the same mind???? Christ on a bike it’s hot out here.

My Monstera adansonii just put this new leaf out two weeks ago. I initially thought this light green spotting was the new leaf just darkening in color, but the spots have gotten lighter while the rest of the leaf has darkened. I did just move to a new apartment two months ago, so I think they (and I) are still getting used to the new climate in this unit. Any ideas on what’s up?

Can anyone help me diagnose my bird of paradise? Some of the leaves are browning, while others are curling. Some information about her…she has drainage holes, watering according to the schedule, and is at a window that gets lots of sunlight in the morning but tapers off as the day goes on.

I just moved into a new apartment and I’m noticing growth on the top of my soil and on the outside of one of my pots. I’m very confused. Is it a type of fungi? Do I need to be worried? It looks kinda like frost.

Does anyone know what this stuff is on the intersections of the stems? I don’t know if it’s a fungi. It’s mostly a hard substance, but I can kind of put my nail into it. The plant doesn’t seem like it has pests, but I feel like it’s been dropping a lot of leaves and maybe the stems attached to this substance seem to be shriveling? I got this plant from my aunt about 2 years ago, so not sure when it was repotted. I was thinking of doing it today, but want to know what this is first. I haven’t noticed anything unusual but my gut says I don’t think this should be here. Should I be concerned? The leaves and flowers that dry up and fall off seem to be normal Update: Planta doctor says it’s corking (and a bit overwatered). I don’t know anything about corking, but it says that’s fine. Is that correct?
