Hi there, whatâs wrong with my snake plant?
Alocasia odora Variegata Hi, i bought this plant 4 days ago. I noticed that one of the leaves the edges are really thin and delicate looking. As days went on, I saw it started to brown. It does get plenty of sunlight and Iâve put it next to a humidifier. Anybody know what I can do to prevent it from getting worse? Thank you
These dangling white dots are lacewing eggs. Lacewings are beneficial insects and not pests. Their tiny alligator shaped larvae have pincers that catch aphids, scales, mealybugs and other destructive insects. Iâm hoping these hatch before I have to bring my Hoya Waymaniae and other plants inside for winter. đŞ´đ
Hey everyone ! How are we all ? I have a problem with botrytis constantly forming on my topsoil of houseplants for some reason. I am not exp at using fungicides and I have tried tumeric as a natural remedy and it didnât work. I also tried scrapping topsoil off but no luck as fungus spores have percolated deeper. Does anyone have any suggestions? It seems most soil I buy has botrytis in now đ Thanks
Please help my identify these little insects! And how do I get rid of them! Thereâs not many but they creep me out and I donât want them destroying my plant! Thanks in advance!
I live in a small apartment and am having a major fruit fly/drain fly/fungus gnat problem. What should I do, it looks like I have them in my shower and sink drain, they also like the bathroom trash can?? Idk what products I should get. Iâm on a pretty tight budget because Iâm in college and just generally need any recommendations to be affordable. Theres like a million plants in the apartment and I live with two other girls. One of the people I live with has a tendency to leave half eaten food lying around either in her room, or the kitchen and the sink. My plants didnât have anything before moving in because the first few weeks there was no problem then my roommate brought her plants and they started showing up everywhere, but we changed the soil before she brought her plants so that wouldnât happen⌠anywho now Iâm just ranting lol. Help would be majorly appreciated.
Whatâs wrong with my white philodendron? All of the white parts have turned brown.
How do I help this poorly African violet?
Any ideas what this may be on my fiddle leaf? I found this plant outside my apartment building and it doesnât have pests and overall seems very healthy with lots of new growth. I just wonder what his is from
Is this from over or under watering?? This isnât where I keep my monstera btw I just put it here while I was cleaning. I have another monstera in the same room/same lighting (Iâm pretty sure) and it doesnât have any damaged or yellowing leaves
Need help with this jade! My motherâs jade was doing well until she came back from a 2 week vacation and noticed these white and grey spots. Itâs a little droopy because the watering was late but it has since been watered. Anyone know what the discoloration is and how to deal with it?
HOW DO I SAVE HIMđ dont mind my cat photo bombingđ
How can I save this?
I saw another post similar to this with the same kind of plant and now Iâm paranoid. Do you think I have spider mites? New growths but the base seems so crunchy and there are lots of browning edges. I do use tap water so maybe thatâs it?
What is going on with this plant it has white stuff all over it plus I've found very small spider web oh the spider web is on the stem and on top of the soil
I got this Chinese evergreen in the mail this past Monday. The roots were wrapped in a wet paper towel, and some of them had gone black and mushy. Since then, I trimmed the bad roots and one of the very yellowing leaves, but a couple others are now starting to yellow. I also put the plant in a soil mixture with perlite and orchid bark. Is there any saving her?
Does anyone know why I get these yellow leaves in my Xanadu philodendron? It isnât overwatered and I am vigilant about checking for/treating pests. There always seems to be at least one yellowed leaf. Is this just normal for this plant?
help! my chinese money plant is STRUGGLING. she is very wobbly snd she had around ten leaves when i got her and she's down to 5. no new growth except for the little leaf that was there when i got it. she's in indirect light, chunky soil which kind of drains fast now that i'm thinking about it, and i water according to the app. i know the app is more of a reminder but honestly i have no idea how often to water her. i checked on the roots and they are probably the smallest, shortest, and thinnest known to man. any tips are greatly appreciated!
My Aralia stump lost all her leaves exept for a few. The person I left in charge of her care didnt water her. Is there any hope of survival?
