Late Bloomer

I recently noticed something unusual with my creeping groundsel, which I rooted from a cutting last fall. It had been thriving, but suddenly, it started looking a bit limp, with some yellowing leaves and areas that appeared to have been eaten. The leaves also had a strange texture, almost as if they were sprinkled with granulated sugar. At first, I didn’t see any pests, but upon closer inspection, I discovered a sticky residue on the growing tips. It wasn’t until I took a close-up picture that I spotted some tiny critters. I’m reaching out to the community for help in identifying these pests and would appreciate any tips on effective and easy ways to eradicate them. Be sure to fully open the photos to see the pests Thank you!

My boyfriends calathea appeared to be healthy and I was planning on repotting her this week. Upon inspection I saw she has spider mites 😭 I told him to go hose her off outside, and later I’ll spray her down with a neem oil/isopropyl alcohol/peppermint Castillo soap/water mixture. Does anyone else have any more tips?? She’s beautiful and I don’t want to lose her! My boyfriend is an inexperienced plant owner and why he chose her as his second ever plant I’ll never know🙃

We got these bird of paradise plants Sunday at Home Depot. We repotted them in tropical + all purpose potting soil. We watered and left them outside to drain over night. During the night we had a pretty strong storm. Now she looks like this. The soil is pretty wet so hopefully she just needs to dry out some. Any ideas other than too much water and wind?

Hi! My staghorn fern just arrived today and doesn’t look it’s in good condition. It had a yellow leaf which I cut off but some other leaves still have brown spots and is brown near the roots(?). I’m not sure if I should cut them out in case this fern has a fungus disease and would spread to the other leaves. This sucks because it’s a small plant and doesn’t have a lot of leaves đŸ„Č Thanks in advance for the advice. tl;dr: does my staghorn fern have a fungus disease and should I cut the leaves that have brown spots/lines on them? (please see photo)

I’m sorry this isn’t the best photo, but these little critters move so fast it’s hard to get a picture of them. Anyway, when I watered my bird of paradise a ton of these little bugs came up out of the soil. I don’t know what they are or if they are bad for my plant. Hoping someone here would know and be able to help with advice on what to do. Thank you!

My new Monstera Thai Constellation’s leaf looks brownish in spots. Any idea what’s going on?? Also, one of the leaves is dripping water. The water comes back after like 3 hours after me shaking it off the leaf, and it won’t stop- I don’t mist it, and I watered it a couple days ago. Any idea what’s going on with either??

Good morning plant friends! Looking for steps to rehab plants after cold weather shock. I’m up in northern Michigan, and we have been in a State of Emergancy. Most people have been without power for almost 72 hours. Due to an ice storm and freezing rain. Trees down blocking roads, and power lines across roads. No gas stations open for gas to run generators or power at businesses here and around us. Anyway, we’re getting power back now all over the county slowly but surely thankfully to the wonderful lineman of Michigan working endlessly đŸ™đŸŒ đŸ™đŸŒ ❀ As a community we are all trying to help one another the best we can. I was able to get gas for my generator last night and take my house from in the 40s back to a normal temps! (Thankfully! It was so cold) Long story long 😅 what are the steps I should be taking to help my plants? I am finally in a position to where i can shift my energy to caring for my plants! I have 60+ house plants and during the worst of the storm I gathered them all together in the room we were in for the best warmth I could provide. Should I hold off on watering? Should I spray neem oil or something preventively? Or should I provide good light when possible and leave them be. Thank you in advance! đŸ™đŸŒâ€ïž

Can anyone give me tips on how to revive this? I picked her up from Home Depot knowing she was a fixer upper, but now it’s worse!! Pics are before and after

Hey plant community! I got my triostar back in December and it was doing well up until about a month ago. I made the decision to remove it from its soil to get it some time to heal in water, however, the leaves are still curling inward and looking pretty nasty? Please let me know how I can fix this!!

Can anyone help me with my plants? :( The first one are seeds (4 plants) from an orange and the second one is lemon. I thought all was well because they were growing even when I transferred them indoors ( they were growing slow in the summer), however the new growth especially on the orange plants are curled up and thing, some of the leafs aren’t complete!

My hoya krohniana all of a sudden stopped growing both leaves, but just one. There’s two parts of the plant that thats is happening. Any idea? Light is great and watering is when soil is nearly dry but still a little moist.

My Triostar has never really been happy, but recently she’s looking downright unhappy. She’s in a west facing bathroom window so gets good afternoon light and humidity, but the leaves have lost most of their pink color and are mostly drying out/shriveling up, despite regular watering, misting and fertilizing. Suggestions? I don’t find any pests.

My Chinese money started turning yellow and then brown. I checked the roots no issues there. I recently changed my grow light from blue light to full spectrum- could I maybe have scorched the leaves? I just turned down the brightness a bit to maybe stress it out less. Not seeing any pests. Also, this prop process has been soooo slow. I was hoping it would put out more leaves once it went in soil a month or two ago but nothing yet.
