hello friends, new here and the plants at my office don't seem to be doing too well, just looking for some knowledge, anything helps (when and how often to water, how to help them be more healthy)

My spider plant has brown spots and some of the stems are dead! The app says that I am over watering but I don’t see any dead roots and the soil feels fine. I was seeing if any of you had any other ideas on what might be happening. Im putting it in new soil hopping that will help.

Guys… what’s going on with my money tree?? It’s in an east facing window (though I recently moved it from a south facing window in case it was getting too much sun). Does this look like leaf burn? An issue with iron in the water?

HELP! I purchased a small basil plant a week ago form trader joe’s and transplanted it into a terracotta pot and took four clippings. My clippings are doing great in their water but the original plant is suffering. I tried to keep it in shade, water more, water less, and put it in indirect light but nothing has helped. I am in a 6a 7b zone. Right now, the plant has been in my bathroom sitting about four feet from a frosted window but we don’t have much sunlight. The soil is an older potting mix what can i do?

Ever since I repotted this plant it’s looked a bit sad and some leaves are turning yellow :( The pot has a hole for drainage but maybe it’s not enough? Let me know any suggestions!

Hi, everyone. This is a follow-up to a previous cry for help. I repotted Jerry here on March 4 in all purpose organic soil mixture with orchid bark and perlite mixed in. I added extra holes to same plastic landscape pot (as I didn’t have anything big enough). Cut away root a little bit of root rot and sprayed with diluted hydrogen peroxide. I am very nervous that he is not taking to the repotting so well. I watered 5 days ago and he’s droopy-not the normal perky leaves and stems. I have removed several yellow leaves. However, I do see new growth so I am on a rollercoaster with this one. ANY help or advice is most appreciated!

my jewel orchid has a weird floppy/soft part in its stem (see last photo) but otherwise looks healthy with new growth points. what’s wrong :(

Hi y’all! Is my dwarf Alberta spruce dead? I got him in November and definitely didn’t water him enough over the winter, probably should’ve moved him to a bigger pot sooner, too. He’s got some needles near the bottom still hanging on, I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do to revive him. Thanks!

Hi All, I’ve had this Lucky Bamboo for about 10 months. Transferred from water to soil about 6 months ago. Can someone help explain why, and how to fix decaying stalks? Happens randomly. From the tip, but slowly the entire stalk will decay and dry out. Really would like to save it if possible.

Hi smart plant people! My dad has a question about his monstera, if anyone could help that would be lovely! : I cut off 3 leafs that had nodes and aerial roots and put in a pot with moss soaked in water. Been 1 week and now tips getting brown/yellow. Is there too much water in moss? Should it be damp and not soaked? Maybe roots need air too? Or just stress from recent cutting? I put rooting hormone on cuts too. Please let us know what you think!
