Originally had this monstera deliciosa cutting in water and it thrived and sprouted a new leaf. Got too heavy and would tip over so I put leca in the vase and filled it with water above the roots. But now the roots are looking a little black. Is this from root rot or just discoloration?
This is the bottom of my foxglove beardtongue, do I need to cut these dead leaves back? The rest of the plant is now healthy but the bottom has not perked up.
Would anyone else know what may have caused this kind of damage? I live in Houston Texas if that helps at all

Iâve had to trim off so many dead flowers, it was placed in my window and it kept drying out so Iâve moved it next to my window so not getting direct light, Iâll see how it does. But any tips would be helpful!

Couple plants that may or may not have root rot? I tried to trim them a bit but tough for me to tell as a first-timer. Hopefully thisâll let them dry out some before I reassess their placement!

Help with Dieffenbachia pls! When I first got my dieffenbachia it was rather full, but now not so much, there doesnât seem to be any new leaf growth and the current leaves have these brownish splotches that also have the leaves getting thinner and flimsier in those areas. Idk what to do any advice? Thanks.
Does anyone know what this discoloration on my monstera leaf is? This is the only leaf on the whole plant that has discoloration like this. This first two pictures are current and the third one is what it looked like a month ago when I first got it.
